72 Riad

We stayed at Riad 72 for my husband's 60th birthday after doing a lot of research and I can save you a lot of time by saying don't look any further just book it!! The Riad is beautiful, tranquil and welcoming all the staff amazing, with an extra special thank you to Mohammed and Stefania who assisted with booking us a walking tour ( which was great) and taxis and restaurants. The included breakfasts were delicious, my favourite being the homemade freshly baked donuts. We thoroughly enjoyed some downtime on the rooftop with the pool and waiter service. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and family. It truly is a lovely place we'd love to go back to if we revisit Marrakesh.

I travelled to Marrakech in February 2024 with my daughter to celebrate her birthday for 4 nights. The staff at Riad 72 were attentive and extremely helpful and respectful. They noted my daughter’s birthday and surprised her with a lovely cake and singing during our breakfast. The attention to detail was amazing. For added security and reassurances , we were provided with a mobile phone to use in case we needed directions or were stuck in town. Places of interest are a short walk from the Riad. The Riad is clean, spacious and the courtyard is a stunning place to sit for breakfast and dinner. Our room was also delightful and extremely comfortable. And then there is the Spa - STUNNING !! Thank you to Stephania and her incredible staff for making a short stay in Marrakech remarkable. I recommend Riad 72 Living 100% we’ll definitely be back.

The 72Riad is spectacular. Everything from our first step into the 72Riad has been incredible and done with great detail: the smile of the guy at the reception with a warm welcome, the registration while sitting at the table with an exquisite drink, the rose water to wash your hands before drinking it , the personalized attention of its beautiful owner, Stefania, the atmosphere of peace and tranquility with a perfume given off by the essential oil burners, which envelops you and relaxes you after a tiring flight, the little birds that fly free inside, the sound of water falling from a fountain in the center of the patio, everything and absolutely everything has been like what we imagined and would like it to be. The rooms are all different (we were 6 people) and each of them beautifully decorated, with very high ceilings carved in wood and borders carved in stone, with a super comfortable bed, delicious sheets, as well as the pillows. There were welcome fruits and 2 large bottles of water each morning, which is very appreciated. The shower amenities smell delicious and they are not small bottles or soap bars, but rather large ones, so you don't run out of anything, and the service is timely and fast. Bathrobes and slippers as well as a hairdryer are there for you and the safety box, of course. Our breakfasts were more than varied, delicious and abundant. The food was deli and their Spa looks incredible, it's a shame we already had a reservation at another one. It will be the next time. In addition to everything, upstairs they have 2 pools with sun loungers and very beautiful views of the surroundings and you’re offered to have breakfast in different terraces with very nice views. The Riad is located a 5-minute walk from the main street, exiting next to the Royal Palace. Unbeatable location, plus the streets where you walk are super clean with nice, smily people in their little shops and you never feel harassed or in danger. Upon arrival, the Riad sends a porter to help you with the suitcases since the car cannot get to the door, the streets are too narrow and only suitable for walking. In general: the 72Riad, Marrakech and its people have exceeded my expectations! Thanks to all the staff for your fine attention. Thank you Stefania for taking good care of us and for all the details, which for sure I didn’t mention all. I will be back!

Great Hotel! Loved the decoration. The service is excellent. The food was delicious. The take care of every detail, to make you feel comfortable. A five stars experience!!!

Riad 72 is very beautiful and serene. The rooms are large, very stylishly appointed and very clean. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful. We had a great meal in the restaurant one evening. Position perfect. Riad 72 is a wonderful place. I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay both times at 72 Raid. We started our trip with a night there and had a room on the ground floor just past reception. The room was lovely, spacious, and we had no issues with noise. We then ended our trip with 3 more nights but this time we were on the 2nd floor. Once again the room was lovely and had a private terrace, very spacious, and no noises issues. Both rooms were nicely decorated, clean and super comfy. The breakfast was excellent and the one dinner we had was one of the best we had in Marrakech. Their rooftop pool and lounging space was lovely and super comfy. The service was professional, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the Raid itself is beautiful.

This is a great place to stay. The location was excellent - seemed like a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was incredibly attentive and the room was huge and very clean. Breakfast was also great. This is exactly the kind of place I hope we end up at when booking somewhere for the first time. Highly recommend it if it fits your budget.

I stayed here in March with my husband for a week to relax and discover Marrakech. The Riad is in a great location, minutes from the walls of the Medina. It is a beautiful building. We had a superior room with its own roof top terrace. The bed had high quality bedding and a large comfortable mattress. There was a good shower and we were looked after well by the housekeeping staff twice daily. The only thing I would have liked was more light in the room. I really found it quite annoying that I couldn’t see my clothes in the wardrobe. A few battery operated lights inside the wardrobes would be a good idea if electrical ones cannot be put in. I have read this mentioned by someone else as well. The restaurant area by reception is really stunning and the food was very good. Breakfasts were good but maybe not the same standard I would usually expect from somewhere of such a high standard. I would have preferred having more fruit available as I don’t really like breads and pastries for breakfast. The views from the roof top terrace and pool area is amazing. We had breakfast there and had evening drinks and used the pool area. The staff were always very attentive. The reception staff were also informative and helpful. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay and I would return but maybe ask for a lighter room.
