The Red House

We had an amazing dinner at the Red House which was delicious traditional Moroccan food although there were French dishes as well. All the food was beautifully presented and served by the waiting team who made a special effort to make dinner memorable. The restaurant is beautiful with gorgeous mosaics and decor & musician playing throughout the evening. We had such a good night we went again on our last evening & were welcomed immediately & enjoyed dinner as much the second time.

We enjoyed a fabulous Moroccan meal at this beautiful restaurant. A musician played to us throughout, all the restaurant staff were excellent and the decor was breathtakingly exquisite. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Marrakesh.

The best place in Marrakech. Great rooms, service and food. We were for the 6th time and again we were more than happy. A special Thank for Abdel. Hé made our stay really amazing. His tips for restaurants were superb. We enjoyed every second and come back soon.

Amazing first stay in Marrakech. The hotel was safe, clean and beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed our traditional Moroccan breakfasts and afternoons by the pool. The hotel was also the perfect location for wandering around the various markets. Already planning a trip back for later this year!

Thank you to all the staff at The Red House for making our stay so great. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. It’s so nice to stay somewhere with real character - spacious rooms in a former grand house, not slick, international style but with a homely Moroccan feel. Only 8 rooms so all the staff know you. Breakfast was delicious, including Moroccan elements such as pancakes, bread, olives, cream cheese and also croissants and eggs any style. We ate one evening meal here, the tagine was very good and service excellent. Location of the hotel is very convenient, cafes and restaurants of the Hivernage are just around the corner and it’s an easy walk, 10-20 mins, into the Medina.

This small hotel of which we were not staying at also offers access to their restaurant to non residents. When you look at the building from the outside, it blends with the other simple red building finishing of the surrounding area. When we stepped inside to a very warm welcome it was like stepping into a palace. You really have to see it to believe it!!! . This is by far the Restaurant that if I was recommending on decor alone, would be very difficult to beat. The oppulent traditional Moroccan decor to the traditional music and waiter service could not be falted. The food and wine selection was extensive and exceptional value given the Quality of the food and surroundings. This Restaurant is a must if you are fortunate to visit Marrakech. A true hidden gem. Do not pass it by.

Had dinner here with the family, The food was absolutely amazing! I personally would recommend the Lamb, which was astonishing! The staff is super friendly, with a good sense of humor. This restaurant is great if you really want to experience Moroccan hospitality and cuisine.

Another great stay at The Red House. Six nights of comfort and hospitality in a wonderful guest house with an excellent restaurant. Easy to get to and easy to visit so many places on foot. The Royal Mansour and Mamounia hotels are just a short walk away and well worth a visit just to see how the other half lives. Rooms, breakfasts, and a couple of dinners at The Red House were all top notch, as are the friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend this convenient place to stay in Marrakech.
