We stayed at Riad Nasreen in 2018 and loved it. We always said that if we returned to Marrakech we would go back, and we did. The tourist industry in Marrakech has been on its knees over the last 2 years because of Covid and we were a bit worried that it might not have been as good or that the Riad might have cut back on their offering. All of our fears were alleyed though. The welcome was very warm and we were served mint tea on arrival (I always thought that was a nice touch). The riad is still the oasis of calm in the assault on the senses that is Marrakeck. As full on crackers as Marrakech can be, coming back into the alleyway leading to the Riad, the quiet and calmness returns. The things we always loved about Riad Nasreen are all still there. The beautiful decor, the calm, intimate atmosphere, the fabulous breakfasts each day (and they are brilliant) and its location (everywhere is a short easy walk away). The other thing we loved were the staff, I honestly don't think more could be done by any staff, anywhere to make their guests feel more welcome or to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Mr Abederrazak and Chahd were great, but I especially need to call out Habibe, he was (again) fab. He is really hard working, and just wants to please the guests. He always sorted out whatever we needed, and nothing was ever a problem. We needed to have early breakfasts on several days, that was not an issue, Habibe sorted it. He organised taxis when we needed them and he is such a great chap. It is these small but very important things that make Riad Nasreen what it is, it is a winning formula and they have it just right. Whatever Habibe is being paid, he would be great value if he cost 10 times more (he is worth every penny and is a true asset to the establishment). If you are thinking about staying at a Riad, make it this one, also book this place knowing that you are helping to get the Marrakech economy going again. We love Riad Nasreen, thank you so much for another wonderful stay.
