The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bay is stunning and with its pool and private beach there are plenty of places to relax in the sun. However, if your aim is to explore the local towns then you are in for an expensive time. The nearest large town, Alghero, is approximately a 25 minute taxi journey away and at the cost of 35€ one way, it’s not the cheapest mode of transport. There is a limited bus service. Also, the food was a little disappointing. There was plenty of it but it was often cold and the choices were limited. We were served sprouts as a vegetable on our first evening! Not really something I would really expect in Italy! However, overall, it was a great holiday in a pleasant surroundings.

Stayed in this hotel in a group. It is superbly situated on a private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas. It has few amenities within walking distance. The building inside has very attractive public rooms. The bedrooms with efficient A/C controlled by the hotel, TV and fridge. However they are colourless, no pictures, no rugs on the floor. Servicing the bedroom was haphazard sometimes in the morning, sometimes late afternoon. Although the towels were changed every day, unnecessary, my sheets were only changed after 6 days. Flimsy clear plastic glasses were expected to last all week. Hardly 4 star. The food menu was very varied but presentation sadly lacking, portions over large leading to a lot of waste and the quality of the frozen and tinned kind and usually lukewarm. A buffet lunch would have been preferable. The staff were lovely.

Hotel Porto Conte is a lovely beach hotel located on a fine sandy beach in the beautiful Porto Conte bay. The beach is reserved for hotel guests and there are enough umbrellas and beach chairs for everyone. It is quiet and peaceful here, and the place exudes a real beach hotel atmosphere. Our room was okay, had a nice sea view from the balcony - the bathroom was small but the shower worked well. Air conditioning is controlled by the hotel staff, it was annoying not being able to determine the temperature and strength yourself. Everywhere is clean and tidy, the common areas are inviting and in the hotel's small café you can get snacks, cold drinks and beer. You can choose quarter, half or full board, we had half board. It turned out to be a good idea, as the area around the hotel does not offer any other dining or shopping opportunities. The food is taken in the hotel's dining room in the fixed place and with normal procedures. The staff are really welcoming and helpful, although English is definitely not their best side. We will.returning to bai di conte our 4th time our son loves it there , it will be his 11th birthday and we can't wait as we haven't been because of covid ! See you Saturday bai di conte ❤️ the staff and hospitality are amazing there , can't wait to return 😁 Ian , bobbi and hendrix reader x

I stayed here as part of a group of about 20 people. We were very well looked after and I recommend the hotel. The reception area and the public areas are spacious, clean and well appointed. Bedrooms are good with excellent linen and towels (complimentary toiletries are limited though - just shampoo). There is access to the beach with lots of sun loungers and the pool is excellent too. Both are kept very clean. We enjoyed the food, both choice and quality. The absolutely first class breakfast buffet is very commendable. All the staff members are nice, Luigi the restaurant manager is keen to please and very good. I am sorry I cannot remember the name of the funny barman but he was great.

Bellissimo hotel in una posizione strategica. Camere pulite, adeguate alla tipologia di vacanza come comfort e dimensioni. Doccia ampia e confortevole. 2 note di demerito: 1. Bar lento nel servire ed acquisire gli ordini. Un solo Barman non può fare miracoli. 2. non particolare gentilezza e professionalità al ristorante. Niente di eccessivo ma sicuramente migliorabile. Curato lo spazio esterno così come le piscine.

Sono stata nella struttura dal giorno 8 al giorno 16 giugno 2024 con un’amica e i nostri 2 figli. Struttura molto carina anche se un po’ isolata, personale gentile e disponibile (dai bagnini ai baristi e camerieri). Abbiamo trovato pranzo e cena validi, colazione un po’ ripetitiva e poco varia, tutte le bevande sono escluse e da pagare a parte anche in caso di pensione completa (telefonicamente ci avevano dato informazioni completamente diverse quindi ricordate che a fine soggiorno dovrete SEMPRE pagare tutto quello che bevete durante la permanenza) Fino a metà giugno non c’è il servizio di mini club e animazione (informazioni sbagliate anche al riguardo) quindi hotel ideale per chi cerca tranquillità ma un po’ meno per chi ha figli che vogliono giocare e fare attività con altri bimbi. Spiaggia piccola ma carina e curata direttamente a ridosso della struttura. Nel complesso un buon hotel con alcuni servizi che possono essere migliorati.

Dieci giorni in hotel Portoconte a Meristella, Alghero. Segnalato dall'agenzia viaggi della mia città, è risultato ancora migliore delle mie aspettative. A 15 minuti dall'aeroporto di Fertilia, c'è questo hotel tranquillo nel centro di un riserva naturalistica dove si può trascorrere ore tra la natura incontaminata e callette con un mare turchese, con un panorama da mozzafiato. Hotel con piscina e spiaggia privata, pulitissimo, tranquillo con spazi ampi che ti sembra di essere da solo, personale simpatico, cordiale e disponibile a farti sentire sempre a tuo agio. In particolare le ragazze della reception che ricorderò con affetto per la loro simpatia.
