Overall: Not worth the money. I don't recommend. Fancy dressings (bath products, linens, etc), but poor fundamentals (room quality - bathroom fixture was held together with tape - and service) I was excited to stay here given the hotel's history, the minimalist aesthetic (in line with Marfa's art history), and the promise of a luxurious stay. I left feeling like I had paid much too much for the experience I received. The rooms look nice, and some of the touches (Aesop products, beautiful towels) are fantastic. But other parts of the rooms/hotel feel too cheap to command $400/night. The heavy room doors don't close softly, so you constantly hear doors slamming throughout the night as people come and go. The walls and ceilings are thin. And our toilet paper roll holder was held together with duct tape. The service was lacking, too. It felt very amateur for the price/luxury they are trying to project. People at the front desk didn't greet us. No one asked us how our stay was, even when we checked out. They seemed more interested in chatting to each other or eating at the desk than they did interacting with guests.
