Kennedy Park Resort Napier

The only thing we had a problem with was the power points that were available by beds were behind the bed a bit difficult accessing other than that. We loved in and were well looked after cant wait to stay again

A great place for what we needed. I was a little disappointed that there was no comfortable sitting area in the cabin but it was functional and gave us an affordable base for our stay.

Site has excellent facilities and is well laid out. The units are a little dated and very poor soundproofing, and for these reasons are perhaps a little overpriced in comparison to some hotel/motel units. However the unit was clean and contained everything you need .

Stayed here for the Tom Jones concert as it was 20 minute walk from the stadium. Room was dated but very clean, bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water and shower gel. Our room was on the ground floor so there was a bit of noise from the room above scrapping of chairs etc. breakfast was good in the morning in the on site restaurant Found the staff to be friendly 40 minute walk from centre of town easy flat walk.

Spent 3 nights over Easter 2024, usually a great place for kids, however has lost its charm with social housing tenants monopolizing all amenities including pool and Bbq area.gang colours everywhere. Such a shame since your paying top dollar to have to lock away all belongings and be more vigilant.

Been coming to Kennedy Park for over 10 years and it's still a fantastic place to stay for the family. Really great location central to the City. Front Counter staff in particular are really great and the free internet is also fantastic, fast speed and no data limits. It is time for me to say however the rooms are really due an update. They have never really been what I would class as modern and have now crossed over into a bit of state, for example: - All the window latches in our Villa were lose to the point I didn't want to open them in fear they may fall off and not close. - Most of the kitchen Cupboards don't close correctly and just hang there - The water pressure in the shower is akin to a dribble - The mattresses on the beds are so worn down you can feel the springs when you lie on them With the price these units cost at over $200 a night I would now expect a higher standard compared to other holiday parts I've stayed at.

This was a lovely site from which to visit this interesting town. The camper van sites were good, with all the facilities you need within fairly easy reach. The facilities were clean and well-appointed, and the staff were friendly. There was lots of equipment available to use, especially for the children, who were able to play in a very safe environment.

I booked a whole cabin for myself. There was a double bed and 4 bunk beds connected to a bathroom and kitchen/living room. There was a picnic table outside on the verandah and a car space just outside. The kitchen is well provided for with oven and gas hobs. There's toaster, kettle, fridge etc. ... I only boiled some eggs! It would be comfortable for a family in good weather and there were BBQs on site. Slept well but limited space for clothes if 6 people on site. There is a restaurant on site ... "The Storkey" ... but I did not use. Easy to find shops a mile down the road.

Property was great, very family friendly if traveling with kids. Pool was nicely heated though we didn't go in as it was raining when we were there. Would absolutely stay again!
