After having a horrendous experience at my original hotel the staff at Gazi Konagi welcomed me early morning and checked me in on the spot. The staff, especially Ibrahim at the front desk were so kind. The building itself is lovely, in an ideal part of town. If you want a room with a view, don't book a cave type room, but one of the modern rooms. Very grateful to have found the hotel!

This hotel has a great location in the Old City of Mardin. Lots of ambiance and atmosphere. On a practical level, it is quite noisy, and we originally had a large room at the front of the hotel. Too much activity. We asked to change to the other side of the hotel, and the staff helped us immediately. Thank you for doing that! The rooms are large and the bathrooms are adequate for an older hotel. Another consideration was that for November, it was unexpectedly hot, and there was no air conditioning for the winter season, since it was shut off. This meant we had to open the windows, and the noise outside (and call to prayer) was a consideration. The breakfast is in the basement and it was beautiful to sit there in the arcaded rooms. The food was good and ample in a buffet style. The stairs are steep so if one has physical limitations, this might not be for you. The perks of staying here are the proximity to the sites in walking distance around Mardin.

Perfect location! It is near from everything! The view of the terrace is breathtaking, you see the city as hear the music! The staff is very friendly and after traveling one month through Türkiye it was one the best breakfast that I had. Easy to reach from the airport or bus station by bus or taxi. And the rooms are so nice, clean and comfortable. 100% recommended

Mardin has many so nice hotel, but this maybe one of the best. Lies at the end of the center, but overall perfect location, with an amazing view from the rooftop teracce, and from some room as well. Staff is kind, the hotel has a private parking, and one of the best breakfast I've ever experienced in turkey. Good choice!

Wonderful location and terrace, value for money, great buffet breakfast, lovely team and reception services. Highly recommended for those who would like to visit Mardin, a wonderful historical and cultural city overlooking green plains. A city worth visiting in Turkiye. Hotel personnel is lovely, extra helpful.

Lovely hotel with nice breakfast fantastic location If they had reliable Internet they would’ve had five stars, I know they try to fix it still for the two days I was there didn’t work. Other than that no complaints Mardin is a lovely town to see and visit
