"We booked this hotel online and not gonna lie, we were a little aprehensive judging by the great rate and looks of the motel. But on arrival we were pleasantly surprised. They are doing a lot of remodeling, so the north end looked pretty rough, but when we pulled around to the lobby, the south end was being remodeled and is looking really good. Going into the lobby, it smelled clean and looked clean. The staff was very nice and accomadating. Very smooth check in. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave. Yes, it looks like an older motel, but it was recently painted and they are still working on it. The only negative thing I have to say is that the hot tub was not hot! After a few minutes in it, we actually had goosebumps. Other than that, breakfast was nice, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. For $70 a night, we would definitely go back! Don't judge a book by its cover! Hopefully when we get up that way again, it will have a much better first impression due to the remodeling."
