Our experience at this property was deeply disappointing. The room we stayed in had damp walls, and the shower was non-functional despite multiple complaints. Given the premium price we paid, this level of service was completely unacceptable. Additionally, the hotel has an inconvenient policy requiring a gate pass to exit the premises in a car. The main door remains locked, and guests are not allowed to leave without the pass, which made us feel like we were being confined. The vegetarian food was another major letdown. Our initial meals were subpar, and it took a complaint to the chef before we finally received food that was edible. The approach to the property is another inconvenience. Guests must navigate around 500 meters of a rough dirt track to reach the entrance. The absence of elevators in the buildings is another glaring issue. While we were on the ground floor, it must be a real challenge for those staying on the upper floors, especially for elderly or differently-abled guests. On a positive note: • The DJ playing by the poolside was a highlight, and we did enjoy the music. • The common areas were surprisingly well-maintained and clean. • The beach, though a long walk from our room, was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Overall, while there were a few redeeming aspects, they were overshadowed by the numerous issues we faced. This property fell far short of expectations and certainly didn’t justify the cost.
