The Jewel Hotel

Good hotel with good location and facilities and amenities.

First of all I would like to say that for value of money that we paid and what we get it us definitely perfect. All people whom are working in Jewel hotel were doing their best to make our stay nice and comfortable. From the first minute when we enterted though the door, we were welcome with smiles, the girls from Reception were doing their best to give us rooms as fast as they can (because our plane was late and we arrived almost at midnight). We were 24 person - but they did great job. Bellboys are always smiling on the entrance and are ready to help any minute. In the restaurant every morning is very fresh and different food - for all tastes, the waiters are so professional, friendly and helpfull. The cook who do the omlettes are always smiling and doing his job with love. The manager of restaurant was caring about us so much also. Housekeeping service is very good - everywhere is extremely clean. Maintenence depar**ent also very helpfull and coming very fast, always smiling and explaining everything (I couldn't switch off the a/c). We liked a big rooms - like apar**ents, even with kitchen (you can ask for plates, forks, spoons etc) and washing machine. It is nice when you are staying with a group of friends. The view from the pool is amazing - to Manama and Gudabiya palace. The hotel is in very good location - a lot of glocery shops, restaurants with different prices around. Just 7-10 min away Block 338 with nice cafeterías and restaurants. Some souvenirs shops also you can find there. In the hotel there are 2 disco - and yes as the people wrote before - you can hear music, but we were ready for that and it didn't disturbed us much. We came to have fun - so it was even nice experience to visit it. What I would like to mention - the people who were assisting us are realy nice. It was our second stay, and definitely we will come back again.

They forgot my id in the printer and did not give it to me when I checked out leading to so much unnecessary trouble. When confronted they denid knowledge and said sorry only. Location is okay and rooms are big

A hotel with a lot of potential - ruined by the nightclub and overly thrifty management. Firstly, the nightclub can be heard throughout the hotel - there is no escape from the noise - we were on the 4th floor and it was really loud. The nightclub needs to be better soundproofed. Secondly, the hotel suffers from an overly thrifty management. The rooms and bedrooms are pleasant. The kitchen area is great for families, but there is no cutlery and no bowls/plates. You have to ask room service to provide them, but when housekeeping visits, they are taken away and you need to ask again. Housekeeping is of a good standard but is not a standard service - you feel like you need to chase them to clean your room. It’s nice to have a washing machine in the room but there are no instructions and when the drier didn’t work - we received a shrug of the shoulders and were told it didn’t work and no drying rack was provided. If it hadn’t been for the loud music from the night club it would have been an ok stay - but having the loud thumping of music until 2am is too much. The hotel owners need to do better to isolate the noise from the nightclub.

This is a smart modern hotel with good facilities. The room I had was very nice with kitchen, lounge area and two bathrooms. Wifi worked very well. I at in the bar a couple of nights which is pretty good though you can not charge to the room. No breakfast is served other than by room service. There cafes across the street that will do a good breakfast, so not a big problem. The real problem with this hotel is loud music which is played some nights until the morning. It came from the ground floor and was disturbing even on the upper floors. I am not sure what time it stopped, I would guess 2 or 3 AM.

My husband stayed here two months ago and his room was amazing and clean he has booked same standards of room and it’s very shabby and dirty furnishings sofa dirty window floors and bathroom the staff didn’t even apologise when we complained

The hotel when open was nice clean and good service I checked in 3times before all staff nice Including GM I meet him before,now for reservation I called Reception many time keep saying will call me back after they give me 3 rates for the same booing date and night when I asked why was no answer staff she hang-up on me🥺 I went there I asked to speak to manager Arabic speaker manger I never hear apologize from her she was explain that they are busy one same time lobby was empty and said other staff give u that rate and about hanging up the phone she will check no apologize they way she talk and attitude can't be for manager I think this first time in her life working as manger, we all know what's the hospitality attitude and behavior whatever I asked her to make sure room will be clan said all our rooms clean simple request she can just make sure before check in room clean if she doing her job instead of arguing with customer,bed was dirty I found pin 😡 small bathroom in sink vomit 🤮 obvious lens in the floor the blanket dirty no one clean up after last customer plus room service I ordered Turkish coffee they send black coffee in Turkish coffee cup I don't know u playing with customer any way I was really regular to go I'll be last time for sure rooms big but dirty

I stayed for 3days it was amazing experience they have nice swimming pool on top,staff are very polite and helpful room was clean comfortable and good size good service.i will visit it again for sure.

I like the place, it's a lively area, with very spacious rooms, reasonable rates, and friendly staff. Ideal for families, nice facilities, wonderful view of the palace from the rooftop pool. They have 5 dining options and a spa within the hotel.
