Arcos Playa

Aunque la atención fue buena, nos pareció muy anticuado y muy poco acogedor, además necesita aire acondicionado, tuvimos q pedir un ventilador por el cual nos cobraron, se aparca fácil en los alrededores, para tres días estuvo bien.

We stay 5 nights in two bedrooms apartment… It was very very dirty, the beds was uncomfortable but in priority it was dirty! I brushed the floor at 5 in the morning when I arrived and I found a lot of white hair.. I didn’t recommend this place in special if you have a child ..

Our 8th visit to the Arcos our second this year. Yes its a little outdated, yes it looks like the pre school kids have been left alone to decorate the place, yes some rooms show signs of past accidents, yes its all true but for what it costs its a real bargain and I have often paid more for worse and the only reason its classed as a 2 star is because there are no lifts. I am happy to sleep in the room when Im not eating and drinking not a telly watcher so no problem. Food at the Arcos gets better and better every year no seriously it does the specialite this October is bangers and mash with onion gravy had it 5 times without stopping me splashing out on fillet steaks lol. Ok if you want luxury you might want to pay more elsewhere but if its fun and value for money youre after I will see you here next year, 'nuff said.

For the money we paid we had an amazing time, ok its a bit dated but if you can get past that, then you'll have a great time. Tony and all the staff were friendly, choice and size of meals was ample and made to order. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was more than big enough for 2, overlooking the pool.Beautiful beach is just across the road.Overall a fantastic time over our 10 day stay. Booking again for next year.

Definitely a case of you get what you paid for. We paid such a cheap price for this hotel so luckily our expectations were low. We always go SC when on holiday as we enjoy the freedom! Start with positives. Arrived very late and someone was still there to welcome us. Clean on arrival. Location is amazing, a wonderful beach with so many shops, bars and restaurants within such close walking distance. Unfortunately, that is the end of the positives. Very basic cooking facilities. I always cook a few nights/ eat out. Attempted one night and eat out for the rest. Out dated rooms that are in much need of updating. Attention to deal lacing and made me feel like I was squatting. Beds supper hard. Noise in the room was so bad from the bar below. The hotel staff started to play bingo at 11pm against there own no noise past 11pm policy. Honestly felt like he was calling the numbers at the end of my bed. We booked a week but left 2 days early, jumped on the bus to palma and stayed elsewhere. If you are happy with very basic base in a good location then do book this place. Personally, it’s a no from us!!

We stayed here for a short girls trip with no children as a last minute booking. Great value for money, cheap and cheerful. Advertised as a two star and for a two star it can’t be faulted. The apartment was huge with two separate bedrooms and a kitchen/dining and living room, clean and comfortable. No air con but we managed to sleep and can purchase a fan if need be. The location is perfect for days at the beach, and no hassle for sunbeds at pool side. A lifeguard on duty who was very good. The area was quiet especially for August but I quite liked that. Met some lovely people around the pool. Can purchase food, drinks and ice cream here. Can imagine it would be a great base to come with kids too if having excursions, exploring the nearby towns, beach and pool days. Had no problems here and would return again with and without the kids.
