Neptuno Beach Hotel

Were do i even start! We had the most amazing holiday at Neptuno! Location is perfect if you are after a truly relaxing beach holiday, sit by the pool all day or grab a spot on the beautiful beach! From the moment we got there we were treated like family. The staff worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much for them, special shout out to Anna, you are amazing and we love you and the Raki! The food was delicious and plentiful and Dimitri always found us the perfect spot to eat! Andreas and Mini made up the animation team and worked hard all day making us laugh, keeping us fully entertained ... getting the hubby up to dance is not an easy task but they did it .. more than once! Andreas went out of his way to accomodate us and we can't thank him enough 🙏. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you both and you always have a place to come when (not if) you visit Liverpool ❤️ Our room was kept spotless by the always friendly and cheerful cleaning staff and the view from our balcony was beautiful, we watched the sun set behind the hills every evening, it was perfect. There probably alot more wonderful things I could say but I've only been back 2 days and I'm still processing! Thank you all for giving us the most amazing time! We will be back!!!

Our stay at Neptuno was amazing, we loved it here and laughed so much. Hope to be back soon ! Every single member of staff is a dream, so lovely, warm and friendly. Big up the cleaning staff, refresh rooms, towels daily and folded PJ's, so cute 🥰. Bar staff are fab remembering and anticipating your every drink. The room we had was small, but absolutely top spec. We spent very little time in our room. I would suggest some more hangers for clothes as there is not a huge amount of storage. The hotel grounds and gardens are well maintained and very pretty 😊 Food was varied and delicious every day something special. Great desserts, coffee and drinks. Giannis, one of the chefs was such a laugh, teaching us Greek most days. A special mention to Andreas from the animation team, he will keep you entertained all night and all day with his cheerful, charismatic and humourous nature.. he really goes above and beyond to make the guests feel welcome and included. Putting a massive smile on your face. From dancing, karaoke, aqua gym (I'm knackered😂) and stretching stretching stretching! Both Rita and Andreas worked so hard to keep the kids entertained and it was lovely to see the kids having such a nice time 🥰 I feel the saying 'if you have a job that you love, you will never work a day in your life' describes the staff perfectly. Be aware if you come here you will forget about all your worries back home, so prepare for some rest and relaxation!! ❤️

Great week in this hotel. Room was clean and facilities were lovely. Very friendly staff, animation team were brilliant and made the week very enjoyable. Food was great and always a great selection to choose from. Big shoutout to Andreas as he was brilliant through the whole week. Already looking at booking next year.

Entertainment at night was always a lot of fun for the kids but also adults, which made the experience so much better!

Just returned home after a week stay, The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are all very friendly, helpful and attentive to all of your needs. Location is perfect. It was a 20 minute transfer from the airport, its right on the beech which is beautiful and the public transport links into Heraklion are on your door step. Food was great every night and there was a good variety on offer for breakfast lunch and dinner, there were plenty of vegetarian opinions for non meat/fish eaters equally there was a really good variety of meat and fish avalible throughout the week, pork, lamb, beef, chicken, king prawns, squid, octopus etc etc there was even snails on off one night! 🐌 if your a fussy eater or for children that are a bit fussy there is always the standard, pizza, pasta, chips etc every night too so literally everyone is catered for. This hotel is smaller than most I have stayed in before and upon arrival I was worried because I am used to bigger resorts rather that smaller hotels that I was not going yo enjoy it, if im honest I think I preferred this hotel to alot of the bigger resorts I have stayed in. The rooms are all air-conditioned, very clean and a good size. You can really tell the extra care and attention put in by staff here and I would 100% recommend anyone looking to visit Crete to really consider booking this hotel up!

This hotel is absolutely perfect,from all the staff who work tirelessly, nothing is to much trouble,so friendly as well,the rooms are lovely and spacious, excellent air conditioning as well,the food was first class something for everyone, would highly recommend.

My Husband surprised me with this holiday for my 50th Birthday and what a fabulous hotel he chose. We got back yesterday after a week of relaxing in the sunshine around the hotel pool and beach, enjoying the wonderful food and drinks, and making lots of friends from around the world. The hotel is spotless and our room was cleaned and we were given new towels every day. The loungers around the pool are really comfy and music is played from the bar, all English songs sung by different people and perfect for chilling. The bar staff are all great guys, smiley and happy...just watch out for the raki shots! Now for the food....I am a very fussy eater but have to say I didn't struggle with breakfast, lunch or dinner, infact I've totally eaten far too much as the food is that good, but still had to indulge in an icecream cornet that you can help yourself to by the bar...the banana icecream is amazing and so difficult to find now in the UK. There are snacks too, and the slices of cake, especially the red velvet, are just gorgeous. The wine is good too, especially the rosé, as is the beer so my Husband was pleased. There are things going on every day, including stretching exercises and aqua gym in the pool, table tennis and also volleyball on the beach, all run by the absolutely fantastic Andreas, we can't rate this guy enough! He is an amazing part of this hotel, trying to get everyone involved, but not pushy at all. One day we got the local bus, just 2 mins up the road from the hotel, bought our tickets in the little supermarket opposite the bus stop for €1.20 each, each way, and 15mins we were in Heraklion which was a lovely afternoon out, nice walk around, bought a few gifts and enjoyed a pork gyros and a carafe of wine before heading back the hotel, highly recommend doing that. We also ate out at a local taverna one night to try the local moussaka, just left at the top of the road, walk about 5 mins, which was lovely, the staff, wine and food, and the complementary dessert and raki they gave us went down a treat. The Wild Rose just on the corner was fab too, nice cocktails and beer in a chilled environment of an evening, again lovely staff. I can't rate our holiday enough from start to finish, we paid for am upgrade to a premium room and we felt it was worth it. An allround great little place, so if you're wondering whether to book then do, we already have for next year. Thank you Neptuno, can't wait to come back. A very clean and relaxing hotel. The staff are very friendly except for the lady at the pool bar, she was quite rude a few times when going to the bar as she ignored you and served the germans first. We had a couple of days of bad weather (pelting down with rain all day) where there was nowhere to go as they have nowhere inside to sit or to get a drink, there is a tv in the room but only has 1 english channel (out of loads) which is the news channel. The resturant is small but very pleasant and the food is good, just didn't know why the coffee machines weren't turned on at dinner time. The beach was very nice, kept clean and always a sunbed to be found. We were on the 2nd floor and our friends room got flooded with all the rain and the hotel staff where brilliant couldn't do enough for them.

We went to this hotel with a 4 month old baby and a 5 year old. On arrival I realised I had left my son’s tablet on the transfer coach- the receptionist went above and beyond and rung around for us and managed to get it back to us. He was amazing. All of the staff at this hotel go above and beyond- they are so welcoming and make you feel so welcome. In particular Andreas and Rita who kept our 5 year old entertained he won’t stop talking about them. Rita does the kids club and our son loved it. She’s a real asset to the hotel. The location is great for what we wanted there is Blancos near the hotel which does amazing food and cocktails- two tavernas and a lovely coffee shop straight across from the hotel. We got the bus into Heraklion which cost €1.20 each. You don’t pay for children under 6. (This bus did get busy just to pre warn people with kids). I think a taxi was only around 12 euros. The food has a great selection. A lot of grilled meats and plenty of choice for the kids. I This hotel is very relaxed if you want constant entertainment and a rowdy holiday this isn’t the place. Entertainment and music went off every night at 11pm. The cleaners are AMAZING. The rooms are spotless and they clean daily and they were always happy and eager to help if you needed anything. All in all we had the best 10 days away- I have holiday blues already and we have only been back a day. We will definitely be returning!
