Pepi was amazingly kind and made us feel so welcomed. The rooms are intimate enough that you dont feel crowded. The view is amazing from the balcony as well as from the swimming pool. We made the detour to stay here as we heard such good feedback from friends. We'll definitely come again! Id recommend this place to everyone

Stunning views, Pepys was so lovely and kind towards our family. The children loved the pool! All felt very safe and secure. Thank you for a wonderful stay :) I would not hesitate to return in the future. Mrs S

I really enjoyed my stay here. Pepy (owner) is lovely and very helpful. The accommodation was great, and the private pool and patio was excellent. Having the ability walk out at any time and enjoy the sun without having to think about if you'll get space / how busy it will be etc was fantastic.
Kitchenette was small but did the job for me - lots of crockery and glasses so not having to wash up constantly
.
The grounds were lovelt and well kept - flowers and herbs everywhere. On my last day i even got to see some goats that had wandered over from a nearby area!
Amenities were great - reliable internet, excellent air-conditioning, strong water pressure in the shower.
Only thing I would say is it is a bit remote and quite steep to get to, so it's best if you either rent a car or are prepared to get taxis (there are no real pavements on the roads nearby so walking felt a bit dangerous).
Absolutely would stay again!

We found this location last minute due to a canceled flight. Pepy was quick to answer and help us resolve our situation. She greeted us kindly with fruits, wine and water. We loved the pool, especially since our kids played non-stop in it. The views are amazing, and it was nice to have the balcony for early morning and evenings. The hotel is very high up we didn’t have a problem with it but other more inexperienced drivers may be intimidated. Definitely you would need a car since all the restaurants are in Almyrida. We did enjoy staying really local and ate at a wonderful authentic taverna with a great view and through what seemed to be a deserted town. The grounds are beautiful but may be difficult for guests with disabilities or difficulties walking or climbing stairs.

This property is all about the view, and it is absolutely amazing! The owner is a very nice lady. Now a few issues: the road is rough (only access for one car for a long stretch), the photos are not necessarily accurate, and a challenge to find reception (although this has been mentioned in many reviews which gives the feeling that the owner doesn’t care to change this). I think many of the photos are the private villas, which appear to be much more up to date but there are only two villas. While it’s a lovely property, I do not think it’s luxurious at all… it may have been spectacular when it first opened. A few other things: had a really short shower curtain so the entire bathroom floor got wet when showering and kitchen could use more utensils. There was an old, abandoned car not far from the pool as well as areas that could have been touch up a bit. In summary, I think it’s a great value for the money however if it is luxury you desire, look elsewhere.

Wij werden, na een uitdagende toegangsweg, ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangen door Pepy, de eigenaresse. Ze liet enthousiast het appartement zien en (altijd leuk) er stond wat lekkers klaar. Later kwam ze ook nog een reisgids van Kreta in het Nederlands brengen, heel attent. Het appartement was ruim, schoon en netjes. Het uitzicht is echt bijzonder. Helaas koelde het (in mei) wel vroeg af en konden wij vanaf 17.30 uur alleen met een dikke trui buiten zitten. Alles is aanwezig in het appartement. Tip: check de website qua voorzieningen (strandlakens kunnen bijvoorbeeld thuisgelaten worden). Wij hadden via Eliza was here geboekt en dus een fijne huurauto erbij waarmee we een deel van het eiland hebben verkend (zonder auto kun je ook niet uit de voeten). Leuk, gemoedelijk strandje in de buurt is Mononaftis beach. Autotocht langs de Zuidkust vonden wij ook erg leuk, net als Stefanou Beach en Kourtaliotiko Gorge. Veel plezier als je ook bij Pepy gaat verblijven!
