Hotel Puri Melaka

Its a pleasant trip back to babanyonya heritage. Have you ever watch “little Nyonya tv drama series “ it is there where u can explore these remaining heritage .. the ceramic ware, interior, courtyard and ambience . So inspiring and every part of the hotel are place for photosession area. Staff are very warm and helpful , food are simple for breakfast prepared by mudlim staff. Very clean yet nostalgic. as an artist i would love to capture the moments of this Heritage to be on canvas to represent Malaysia and its intergration. i though that the hotel would be rustic and scary but it turn otherwise despite of the heritage building, it is refurbish nicely and creat a warm stay to enjoy. As couple we enjoy the romantic serenity and privacy beautiful room .. we appreciate tis. Nevertheless walking outside jln Tan Chen lock are Jonkers Street that all surrounded with galleries , shops that offers the antics, clothing and pasar malam of courses artistic and many more. try the cendul and the gula Melaka or brow sugar are pure taste with no sugar added .. marvellous taste …. you would never regret this wonderful journey.. book early get lots of discounts from Trip.. we enjoy this journey and hope to stay again @ Puri. tq for the great hospitality

This is my first time staying at this hotel and first family trip to Malacca. The first impression of the hotel is excellent and unique. The service provided by the hotel is fantastic, staff are friendly and helpful. They are always ready to serve you and with a smiling face. The hotel room is clean and neat. Areas of improvement are breakfast and lift. The breakfast was not as good as I expected. Lift a bit too slow and maybe to have one more lift instead of one.. Overall it is excellent. Recommended if you had a hard time choosing one when you wanted to tour in Malacca. Very convenient and accessible to local attractions and food. Last but only least, you try the spa as it is very good but remember to make booking b4 you go.

The hotel is decorated with baba. The room is space was big. There was lift for this 3 storey hotel. The breakfast was quite good. Even if you re vegetarian also can enjoyed.

The hotel is fill with artifact that describe the culture of the people living in the past. It is a living museum where the staffs dressed up like time has stand still.

Upon check-in, the room appeared satisfactory, and we left our luggage before heading out for a late lunch. Upon our return, we were surprised to find the floor wet. After contacting reception, a technician was sent to investigate. Despite our insistence, he initially assessed the situation from outside the room. When he finally entered, he did so with his shoes on. Despite our suggestion that the water leakage could be from a loose window due to heavy rain, he dismissed it without inspection. Only after requesting a room change did he examine and fix one window, leaving the other unattended. Unfortunately, my luggage near the window was still wet the next day.

We had always wanted to stay here and finally did. Great decision as we were mesmerised by this hotel cum museum settings. Yes, the property may not have a pool to douse oneself after exploring humid Melaka but it made up for it in other ways. Photo opportunities are aplenty with the nooks and crannies of the property, laden with artifacts of past generations. There’s also a room dedicated to the history of Melaka. My only gripe is the natrow and small washroom, which could be difficult for a plus-sized person. Also, the fire alarm was triggered the both nights we were there. Other than that, the property was perfect. Kudos to all the staffs and keep up the great work.

Great location next to Jonker street. There is parking lot near hotel around 100m.

Simple and spacious hotel. Easy access to the resort. Helpful staff.

Good location and walking distance to attractions. Staff are friendly and courteous. Many F&B nearby. Breakfast well spread and had variety. The room and toilet are clean. Except the washing basin needs to clear its blockage. Water take sometimes to drain off. Good to stay when in Malacca.
