Cooks Club Calvia Beach - Adults Only

Easy check in. Perfect location. Wonderful views from the sea facing rooms. Very close to Magalluf ***** but also within walking distance of bars and restaurants of Palmanova. Bit of a steep hill in front of the hotel, but manageable if mobile. Food and drinks in the hotel of good quality and reasonably priced. All staff are very friendly and accommodating, particularly Ian, the manager, who makes a point of speaking with every resident during the day, around the poolside. Resident DJ plays chilled tunes all day beside the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel for adults of all ages, and will definitely return again soon. Thank you.

The hotel is located in the town of Magaluf, making the stay quite lively due to its proximity to numerous clubs and bars. It's very convenient and close, just a 5-6 minute walk to the beach. The hotel itself is nice and cozy, with updated rooms. Our sea view from the room was incredible. The restaurant is quite spacious, with a terrace overlooking the pool. The food was varied and delicious, and the staff was friendly. Ian, the manager, took care of our stay from day one. He was attentive to our needs and did everything possible to ensure our comfort. We will definitely return because the pools are fantastic!

If you're thinking of booking this hotel ..book it! Just got back from a 5 night stay with a friend and we didn't want to leave. Every part of the hotel is beautiful and the views of the 2 beaches either side are breathtaking. The food is so nice we found it nicer than restaurants along the beach. So many different areas to chill out and no whenever ever seemed to busy there's always sunbeds and quiter areas to go if you don't want to be around loads of people. I couldn't fault this hotel I have no idea how it's only 3 stars! I will definitely be returning. It is abit of a steep hill to walk up but it's so worth it!

Booked with my friend. We are women in our early 50s. We both loved the cool chilled vibe of this beautifully, stylishly, renovated hotel. It has amazing views. We were on floor 3 overlooking the sea/pool. Floor 8 has awesome views. The rooms are beautifully styled. Spacious and bright and very modern. It's located on a slight little hill which is a small climb, but great for the legs! Supermarkets a stones throw away. Beach is a beautiful peaceful 3 min walk away. The beach is stunning with golden sands and blue waters ...plenty of restaurants and nice shops. With a huge glass bottom boat trip which sails from the beach every day...in search of dolphins. The staff at the hotel are some of the nicest and most professional I've met. Really helpful. Reception staff, restaurant staff, and room staff, all brilliant. Ean the Director - what a professional. Walking the pool area to ensure all guests are all OK. Such a lovely guy. OnTheBeach had booked us Into two single rooms which we didn't realise...but the reception team managed to transfer us into two doubles with view. We were bed and breakfast. Food choice was excellent. Freshly cooked and not a fly in sight! Never experienced that level of cleanliness. Again, all beautifully presented from such top restaurant team. The guest dynamic is so varied. Middle age, older age, couples, groups, young people. I have to say, the young people are a joy to be around. All having a top time, but not noisy when they return. It's nice having so many varied ages. They were a credit to their families. They're there to have fun, but were all so lovely. The hotel is so modern and beautifully designed. Glass elevators and a sort of Japanese-esque style lounge area. The communal areas are huge and so much space in this hotel..both inside and out. The outside areas are great. You can be sociable and sit around the pool, or find one of the quieter spots if you're searching for some time to be alone. Anyone booking this hotel will not be disappointed. I would be very surprised indeed to see a negative review about Cooks Club. We did not want to leave it, nor the resort. I'm booking to go with my partner next time. Absolutely loved it. I went to Cooks Club Calvià beach between the 8th and 15th May as the first holiday I’ve booked abroad by myself. I wanted an adult only hotel and was concerned that there would be issues but it was fine and I met some amazing people here :) I booked a single room which came with a single bed so that was quite funny not being in a single bed for a long long time however the room was lovely and the bathroom very modern with a great shower! The only downside was it was right next to a door for staff members and this slammed quite a lot during my stay. On speaking to other guests I would book a double room front facing next time as there was a hotel/apartments at the back that was quite noisy at times. I could see the beach and the ***** and no issues with the latter as the balcony doors were well soundproofed. I went half board and with this you get breakfast and then 18 euros on a wristband (loved the fact this gets you in your room too!) for dinner but I’ll be honest this went towards a nice jug of sangria round the pool! The breakfast is out of this world with so much choice and I like to thank Becky and the other staff members for sorting my coffees of a morning :) The food throughout the day was fabulous and liked the fact you could eat when you wanted between 12 and 10pm. I even had food brought to my table (thanks Ian and Christian!) The dining area caters inside and out and was beautiful - very modern and clean. At the pool there were no issues getting a lounger and on my first day Oscar took my sangria to one of the better placed loungers where I usually sat from there on. The pool area once again lovely and clean. Darri the lifeguard was lovely and enjoyed trying my Spanish with him! Plenty of choice with drinks and a lovely bar area. There are 2 pools but I went to the main one to relax. The bar at night was so ambient with the lights and comfortable chairs and once again looked after by all the lovely staff members with my drinks. Ian the manager is fabulous and clearly a good leader as you could see this reflected in the staff who were so happy and nothing was too much trouble. Ian would ensure he spoke to you and got to know you too - not just lip service and I’ve never experienced this before so was very refreshing! Total asset to the hotel and works very long hours with everyone else yet all smiling and happy. Calvià beach is just stunning and plenty of places to go eat and hang out. Once again everyone so welcoming and chatty. There is a steep slope to the hotel but nothing too untoward if mobile. One day I did go out and ate/drank too much then walked back - I was going to ask for a stretcher once at the hotel! lol! Was quite funny though ;) The hotel is cashless which I like so ensure you have a card or app on your phone! I will definitely return as had such a wonderful stay - was quite down when I had to come home where most times I’m happy to come back! I got to know some amazing people from the UK and from other parts

Came over a week ago for with my sister and friends. The hotel is so clean, smells amazing, the food is incredible and the staff are all so wonderful! The sunbeds around the pool area are so comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are really comfortable and the shower was HEAVEN. Couldn’t believe the standard of the hotel, it really is amazing and would recommend to anyone! If I ever came back to Magaluf I’d stay here again!

Amazing hotel as soon as you walk in your met with beautiful smiles from reception girls Paula and Joeejna very helpful and spoke good English. I went with 3 lads we all had separate rooms. I was on a different floor and the ladies changed my room so I could be on the same floor as my mates. Thank you for this it made me so happy 😊. The rooms are cleaned Dailey, beds sheets & toweredible, there is a vast variety of foods to choose from to suit your diet or hunger needs. The pool, wow! Nice big & spaced out. Lots of ls get swapped daily for fresh ones. And floors are mopped daily too. The food is incredible, there is a vast variety of foods to choose from to suit your diet or hunger needs. The pool, wow! Nice big & spaced out. Lots of sun beds and seating area so no massive rush to get that perfect spot. There is also a smaller pool on floor 0 for those who love to get them Instagram pictures by the pool with the view behind you. Also, amazing service from Johnlouis who works at the pool bar, spoke good english he also helped me speak a bit more Spanish during the week I stayed here. And last but not least, a massive thank you to Ian, the hotel manager. Most hotels just want your money and kick you out. Not this hotel or this manager Ian everyday made sure he was visible for all guests to approach. I had several chats with Ian during my stay complimenting him on the hotel and he would constantly ask me how my day was. Did I have any problems, what my plans were for the day or night depending on if I was going out. 3 star hotel, it should be a 5 star hotel. Had such a lovely time I will be coming back again in October and I will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff working so hard at cooks clubs. You're all amazing and work so hard to make the guest feel welcome and enjoy their stay.

I was a guest at this hotel for 10 days , the receptionist were very welcoming and helpful, the room I had was so comfortable , cleaned every day it was spotless. The dining room was relaxing, menu fabulous, staff were lovely to , I would definitely go again in the future.
