Had an issue with a quoted rate that I reserved with over the phone with Courtyard Direct. I went to check in and they changed the rules on our quoted price. Not happy. We opened up a complaint case not only for that, but also RUDE behavior from the front desk worker. Eye rolls, and talking over customers must be part of the training there? Terrible etiquette as a CSR. Also, my room’s sofa looked like it just got brought in from a frat party at UW, the hot tub had more sand in it than Lake Superior, and the TV wouldn’t work until I traded in the remote. Courtyard is usually pretty good, and I’m a member with marriott bonvoy. Probably gonna chalk this up to a couple rough employees, who need some training in customer service. Madison Wi is great, Courtyard Madison East is not.
