I felt right at home from the first minute we arrived! The room was wonderful, and the extras were even nicer! The people were so helpful and friendly! The breakfast offered was so healthy and delightful! We will definitely be back when we visit family again!

This is a beautiful inn with an attentive and professional staff. We loved our room and the shared common areas. The property has beautiful wildlife and is convenient to absolutely everything. The breakfasts and snacks were delicious. We had a great time and will definitely stay again!

Everything at The Homestead is meticulously thought out. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It’s beautiful, in a great location and breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious and very pretty. The grounds are well taken care of.

Absolutely love the Homestead, such a unique, special B&B experience. The owners have turned this classic New England home in charming Madison, Connecticut into a luxury B&B with every amenity possible and dog friendly too! From enjoying coffee in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the expansive property, to taking a bike ride, to backgammon in front of the fireplace with a glass of port and Miles Davis in the background, they have it all. Beautifully appointed rooms with private baths and outdoor patios plus the added touch of your very own Victrola player with an unlimited assortment of records to suit every music taste just adds to the ambiance. Delicious home made breakfasts, with snacks, beverages and other treats (including popcorn machine) available all day and night. The owner and manager are engaging, warm and welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home. Highly recommend this singular B&B experience and can’t wait to return.

We have stayed several times and it is always wonderful. Communication is terrific and the staff always make us feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are cozy and clean with nice bathrooms, and the common areas are lovely and inviting. There is a great array of drinks and snacks and tasty breakfast. We are in Madison frequently, so we will be back!

We stayed 2 nights at the Homestead to attend a wedding. We loved our room and the great outdoor patio right outside our back door. The hotel's interior is very comfortable and fun. There are a lot of interesting things to see, especially in the sun room. Breakfast was good with a number of choices and the staff was always available to help with cappuccinos, coffee or anything else you might need. I especially liked the "Just Water" refillable containers that you could refill with filtered water at any time. We also enjoyed the Spa showerhead in our shower. We look forward to staying at the Homestead again.

This Bed & Breakfast is phenomenal! SO much attention to detail and the staff is extremely friendly! Room 5 was so nice with its own private patio! Easily located to downtown Madison, local beaches, and restaurants. The breakfast was very good in the morning and it was very quiet at night. Great place to rest, relax, and rejuvenate! Looking forward to returning!

What a beautiful place! I stayed in room 5. private outdoor deck. There are amenities in this place I didn't even know I needed! outstanding breakfast. The firepit was going - a great place to sit with a glass of wine in the evening. Highly recommended.

This is my third time staying here and every time it feels more and more like home. This time I stayed in Room 4 (I've tried a different room each time.) It's on the first floor so no climbing stairs and has a big, spacious bathroom. Two twin beds with memory foam mattresses. I love this place! Always clean and the staff is so lovely. I visit the nearby stores and shops and even took a trip to Mystic this time around. We love the breakfast and the round the clock coffee bar available. It's a relaxing time the moment I pull into this gravel driveway and highly recommend.
