Tell Madaba

We stayed at the Tel Hotel for 1 night and it was a wonderful experience! Edouard and his mother Mounira welcomed us with great kindness and humour, and full of advice on restaurants and shops. The hotel was impeccably kept, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Mounira's breakfast was the best we had during our 2 weeks in Jordan. We highly recommend it! And it's very close to Madaba town centre and St George's church. Thanks again to both of you!

I cannot tell you enough about the wonderful hospitality offered us by Edward and his family at this comfortable and friendly establishment. The food was excellent and the coffee hot. I returned twice during my two months in Jordon. l left a bag behind and Edward went above and beyond to help get it back! I am deeply grateful for the invaluable help from Edward.

We stayed in tell madama for two night. Edward and his family are very kind, they gave to us special advices for the dinner and for the visit at the Dead Sea for the next days. Nice central position!!

The room and common rooms are very comfortable. Close walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Edward was especially nice and helpful. We left before breakfast but his mother made us tasty falafel sandwiches for the airport.

Stayed at Tell Madaba on our second night in Jordan having booked direct with Edward. I read the TA reviews which were all positive and booked direct using WhatsApp. Rooms were absolutely spotless with good wifi, air con, fridge, TV and plenty of space. The bathroom was also excellent with a powerful shower. In the breakfast area outside my room was a kitchen with kettle, tea, coffee, filtered water which we could help ourselves to. Breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice. Edward's mother was on hand to give advice and answer any questions. They recommended a restaurant nearby (Adonis) which was very good. This is a really friendly hotel with excellent facilities at a good price. We returned for our last night in Jordan as we were so impressed. Tell Madaba is a great choice for first or last night as it is very convenient for the airport, less than 30 minutes away. All in all, an excellent choice.

Tell Madaba was a perfect location for us to stay on our first night in Jordan. Well placed for Queen Alia Airport (a 30 min transfer), walking distance from all the main sites in Madaba (St George’s, Shrine to John the Baptist, Church of the Apostles) and the restaurant quarter, and a short drive from Mount Nebo, it feels more like a home stay than a hotel. Breakfast was amazing - especially the maamoul; all home made and delicious. The owners could not have been more friendly or more helpful. English speaking with some great tips for what to see and do and for our journey onwards from Madaba. Parking is available off road on a vacant lot a couple of hundred metres from the hotel. Definitely recommended.
