Hotel de la Bourse

This hotel has the best location. It is just steps from the iconic Maastricht Townhall. The hotel is an old building but renovated with modern amenities. The ground floor is a restaurant which was always fully booked and I am very sure the food must be great. Rooms are at next floor and there is no actual reception, but you get the key from the restaurant cashier desk. The lift was at the back of restaurant near the kitchen. There is also another side entrance just in case you return late and the restaurant is closed. The room is not big but enough space to move. The bathroom is modern with tiles, rain shower and nice toilet. The bed is comfortable, no air conditioning but windows can be opened. The heater is functioning. Regarding the location, this small hotel is highly recommended as it is in the old town with reasonable room rate. All attraction including St Sebals cathedral and bridge are within walking distance. A modern mall is just across the hotel and Jumbo supermarket. Maastricht central is just 10 minutes walk or 4 minutes by public bus. Plenty of restaurants and cafe are surrounding the hotel. I will certainly stay again.

Stayed here for the first time last week as we were in Maastricht for an Andre Rieu Christmas concert. It's a 2-star hotel but the welcome is definitely 4 star, and the rooms are very warm and comfortable. We had a tiny bathroom with just a toilet and shower, and the sink was in the bedroom, but all perfectly acceptable, and everything we needed was there, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. The only thing that let this lovely place down was that on our last night we decided to eat there so pre-booked a table for 7.30, and the mistake we made was to order starters as well as mains. The starters came reasonably quickly but at 9.15 we were still waiting for our mains - and delicious though they were, we really hadn't wanted to eat them that late. Another bizarre thing was that of the five of us, three ordered alcoholic drinks (2 beers, 1 gin & tonic) but the others only wanted tap water so we asked for a carafe of water, which we all shared, and later on asked for another one. When the bill came we found we'd been charged euro 2.60 for each carafe and when one of our party queried this she was told that it would have been free if we'd bought wine. Sorry, but I do not understand the logic of that at all, since 3 of us had had other alcoholic drinks and we had also had meals. In many restaurants water is provided as a matter of course, and it is a definitely a black mark for the De La Bourse that they do not provide this.

Super breakfast, prix plus que raisonnable et établissement remplie de charme personnel au top. Je le recommande. En plein centre de la ville que demander de plus accès facile à toutes les activités au alentours et pas loin des grand centre commercial

Badkamer geen privacy omdat glazen deuren enorme kieren had rondom en veel te rumoerig aan ‘markt’ kant. Niet te doen in zomer omdat deuren door enorme geluidsoverlast avond/nacht niet open kunnen en kamer daardoor te heet is. Dus of niet slapen of je bed uit drijven. Wc ruimte biedt onvoldoende privacy ivm glazen deur met kieren. Uiterst oncomfortabel hierdoor. Van ellende dag eerder naar huis gegaan.

Vandaag een gemberthee, koffie met een smaakje en een rijstevlaai en kersenvlaai besteld. Heel lekker daar niet van, maar om hiervoor 27,50€ af te moeten rekenen is niet oké toch? Klopt het dat dit altijd duur is in Maastricht?

Belle chambre, moderne et propre. Savons à disposition pour mains, corps et cheveux. Personnel accueillant et aimable. Très bien située, au centre de Maastricht, à une dizaine minutes de la Gare, proche de tout les commerces et du marché de noël. Prix correct pour deux personnes et au niveau de l’emplacement. Très bien !
