It was a wonderful place to stay. My wife is originally from the area, and we returned tp stay for a 4 day weekend. The owner and staff we incredibly friendly and assisted with our every need. Our room was very comfortable ans immaculate, and our breakfast was delicious everyday. It is ideally located near the Maas river and Maaseick city center, and we enjoyed riding bikes to both. Some hotels are just right and can still surprise you in different ways. The biggest surprise was that we ended up in one bedroom of a large two-bedroom suite (B10) including huge living room, microwave and fridge. Slightly too modern touch lighting controls (meaning: we couldn't really be bothered to work out precisely how the high tech worked, but played with it a bit which was OK). They had economised by not bothering to fit the sink to the water connections in the WC (after all, there were two in the bathroom immediately adjacent I suppose the reasoning went). Good bath and shower, toiletries a bit minimal. Beds very comfortable. Stairs to first floor room. Quiet. Overall room exceeded expectations. Buffet breakfast (plenty of bread/cheese/ham/yoghurt/fruit/coffee/tea etc.), no evening restaurant - but there are two great fairly upmarket choices within a two minute walk (really, but book in advance) and plenty more within 2 km. But drinks are available - great for sitting on the central terrace. Hotel service a little eccentric, which we liked ! Parking easy in hotel grounds and in village if that's full. Immediate surroundings are OK (there are walks along the Maas, canoeing too) and prettier places aplenty within a short drive. To be recommended for short stopover and also as the base for a longer stay provided immediate hotel surrounds aren't a top priority for you.

Een hotel mag nog zo mooi zijn en prachtig gelegen, als je zo onvriendelijk benaderd wordt bij ontvangst en valselijk beschuldigd wordt wil je er nooit meer naartoe. Een zeer vrouwonvriendelijke man, onbeschoft in taalgebruik, schending van privacy bij controle kamers en beroving van vrijheid bij vertrek. Nooit gaan we daar nog heen.

Een prachtig hotel, in een mooie omgeving. We hadden een kamer op de begane grond, heerlijk ruim met een grote badkamer. Heel schoon en rolstoelvriendelijk. De bedden waren uitstekend. Voor onze fietsen was er een ruime schuur achter op het terrein. Op de binnenplaats van het hotel is een terras met grote kuipen met oleanders, wat het een heel vriendelijke aanblik geeft. Na tien uur 's avonds was het er rustig. Het ontbijtbuffet wordt geserveerd in een mooie serre, waar je een tafeltje wordt toegewezen en je het advies krijgt om eerst goed te kijken wat er allemaal is. Het buffet is goed voorzien.

Wunderschöne Anlage, sehr ruhig gelegen. In die Stadt ist es auch zu Fuß dennoch nicht weit. Komfortabler Parkplatz auf dem Hotelgelände. Angenehme Zimmer mit einem sehr großen Bad, alles noch sehr neu. Unser Zimmer hatte jedoch keine Klimaanlage und wir haben leider einen heißen Tag (32 Grad) erwischt. Mir war es daher zum schlafen zu warm. Der Empfang durch den Hotelbesitzer war sehr herzlich und er war durchgängig um unser Wohl bemüht. Frühstücksbuffet war für so ein kleines Hotel top, insb. die Käseauswahl hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank!

Heel gezellige locatie, geweldig avondfeest. Mooi weer met toffe buitenplaats waar onze receptie heeft plaats gevonden, Aangename zaal om de feestmaaltijd te nuttigen en veel plaats voor het avond-nachtfeest. Mits goede afspraken is alles geweldig verlopen alles was tip top. De uitbater was zeer duidelijk ivm het vollume van de muziek, terwijl we dachten dit dit misschien niet luid genoeg stond, hebben we er helemaal niets van gemerkt en fijn gefeest! Goed meegezongen en uiteindelijk een geslaagd huwelijksfeest gehad.

Onbeschofte eigenaar. Probeert huwelijksfeest eigenhandig stil te legge voor overlast, terwijl het nog niet eens fatsoenlijk begonnen is. Waarom verhuur je een feestzaal als men zelf niet tegen lawaai van een feest kan… zeer bizarre man.
