Beautiful hotel and rooms. We stayed in an executive room and there was plenty of space to work and enjoy all the views of the 2e neighbourhood. Location was perfect to explore the central part of Lyon. Breakfast buffet was great (fresh fruit, pastries, cereals/granola), not sure about the cooked food because we didn’t try it. beautiful setting. The food with room service was only ok, possibly because compared to the rest of Lyon it wasn’t as incredible, and possibly because the restaurant was undergoing renovations so it was not at full capacity. The spa was small but manageable because we needed to book the time (preventing too many people in there at once). The floors were very slippery and my partner hit his head - I think this needs to be fixed (we were not the only ones slipping everywhere when the floor was wet).

The room has a great view and is in a convenient location. It is close to the train station and convenient for walking around. The entrance to a large shopping mall is right next to the downstairs. Tax refunds are also very convenient. The hotel staff, including the breakfast staff, are very good. The breakfast is quite rich and the environment is open until 11 o'clock. Even the laziest people don't have to worry about time.

This is a fun property. It's an old building that was a hospital before it was converted. The building is spectacular. It was also very clean. The rooms are quite large - by any standard and especially French standards. The space was also very well utilized. The bathroom was similarly large and well laid out. The location is excellent - near the rivers and lots of tourist areas. It's an expensive area but that's not unexpected. The wifi was good and the A/C worked well. The airport is outside the city so it costs about 50-60€ each way. The property was very quiet. They did a nice job insulating the windows to block traffic noise. Bottom line, I would absolutely return.

We stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour. The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer. The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.

We spent two nights at the Okko Lyon at the beginning of August 2022. The property consists in a restored building right on the banks of rivet Rhone. The interior is all modern design and while the club lounge is really well decorated, rooms are more on the simple and essential side. Our room while not large was quite comfortable with a balcony and partial river view. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Lyon on foot with easy access to both the centre and the old town. The club with all day refreshments and aperitif in the evening is a nice an welcoming inclusion. Some areas of improvement we feel could be addressed are: one or two extra towel hooks in the rather compact bathroom, a mini bar in the rooms even if you get refreshments at the club and finally it would be nice and expected to have the first glass offered with the evening aperitif while all alcoholics are extra. Breakfast is nice with a good range of both sweet an savoury items on offer. Finally the staff are all professional nice and welcoming. In all a good address to visit Lyon!

The location is very good, just a few minutes walk from Lyon Central Station. There is a supermarket and a shopping center nearby. The room I stayed in did not have shampoo refills, but the room was clean, and it had a pool and gym, so it was acceptable for a good value hotel.

We drove there by ourselves and arrived at the hotel very late. There is a mall next to it, which is very convenient for eating and watching movies. The breakfast at the hotel is also very rich. We also had authentic French dinner at the restaurant the next day.

Stayed for 2 nights and was very satisfied. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the train station. The inside and outside of the hotel are very luxurious and spectacular. The palace-style buildings, the rooms are stylishly designed, a little children's palace style, the breakfast is rich, and the price of Ctrip is very favorable for the taste. Booking is cheap, so this is the first time I have booked a hotel overseas on Ctrip in Shanghai. I went to the United States to book a hotel for more than 10 nights next month, all of which were booked on Ctrip. I will continue to support Ctrip in the future.

On the hill, the hotel overlooks the old town and the main church, and the scenery is breathtaking. The breakfast is very good, the variety is rich, the fruit is very fresh, and the outdoor dining environment is equally satisfying. The hotel is beautifully located near many attractions, bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable but did not like the pillows particularly. The room was cleaned but not hugely spacious. Plenty of space for your belongings. We had room 52. The shower was great but the towel rail was right in front of the toilet and it was physically impossible to sit straight while on the toilet. Even harder if you are tall! Otherwise, the Rooftop has a beautiful view of Fauvriere and it’s worth going for it. We decided to have breakfast somewhere else as we didn’t think it was worth €18 considering there are so many other lovely places in the area where they offer more choice for less. We haven’t tried dinner, but there’s a lovely atmosphere up there. Staff were very kind and professional at all times.
