The hotel is perfectly located and has amazing views of the Nile, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset !
The service was impeccable and they prepared for us breakfast box.
The only criticism which is not only applicable to the hotel is the fact that the price quoted for them helping to call a taxi by the reception was by far higher than what it would normally cost to grab a taxi and use the meter

The Old Winter Palace is the grand old dame of Luxor. The hotel is extremely atmospheric. However, it needs to be clearly said that an upgrade of the rooms will soon be needed. However, this did not impact my general impression of the hotel. I had a classic room on the third floor, with Nile view. The room had a balcony, which was brilliant. The hotel staff are all extremely kind and helpful. The restaurants (I tried the 1886, the La Corniche, as well as the pool-side restaurant) were all very good, and the service was excellent. breakfast in la corniche was good. What I would suggest here would be to open the windows for some fresh air - and possibly even considering an the construction of an outside terrace. Variety of food and quality of food was great. Coffee was served in a French coffee press. - It feels hard to describe the hotel - it just felt "right". I would defnitely stay there again, and will recommend to others.

Great experience! The hotel needs some renovation but in all the rest it has the best service we experienced in Egypt, breakfast is also very good.

服務非常好，服務項目也很全面。累了可以點餐到房間，有洗衣服務。腰急性扭傷了，疼的完全不能走路，酒店竟然有醫療服務，很快有醫生上門檢查，打針、給葯，效果立現，幸虧有這個服務，不然後續沒法愉快玩耍了。專業五星級，沒有歧視。

雖然因為sales盛情難卻、買過幾年雅高的會員卡，但雅高旗下缺乏很fancy的酒店，所以浪費了好幾年的會員福利。這次是去阿斯旺被老瀑布索菲特傳奇驚艷了，然後臨時訂了盧克索索菲特冬宮體驗一下，結果真的是一言難盡，迅速敗壞了對雅高的好感。酒店硬件陳舊算了有心理準備我能忍，房間完全不隔音我也忍了，但服務拉垮成這樣真的是特別特別無語，特別是前台經理，我住遍全球酒店，第一次遇到訪客也不讓登記，一定拉扯要訪客付住宿費才能上樓的情況。和他説明瞭一個小時後訪客就去機場，也沒有行李，酒店也沒有門禁，其他歐美人恨不得把酒店當個景點參觀，成羣結隊地在酒店裡到處遊蕩也不見工作人員去特殊關照一下。到我們這裏訪客就衹能在大堂坐着，這個是要錢要到了什麼程度！！第二天果斷換了Steigenberger nile palace 的總統套房，房間又寬敞又安靜景色又好，比冬宮又小又舊吵得要死的房間衹貴了一點點。強烈推薦後者。服務的一星給酒店的行李員，還是比較有禮貌的，否則連一星都不想給。
圖一是冬宮，入住時類似於國內三星的硬件，連水池邊的綠植都捨不得換就可以管中窺豹酒店的管理水平了。圖二是我們第二天換的酒店，光這樣的陽台就有兩個，門口馬車一美金到盧克索神廟，覺得終於有了度假的感覺！

酒店非常有特色，利用原來貴族的宮殿作為酒店，陳設佈置展示着當年的榮光。是當年貴族追求歐洲品味的放映。花園特別精美雅緻。
但是服務非常一般，設施特別勉強。
特別是，當我預訂了尼羅河景房，給的是工地、温室大棚景房的時候，這算不算是被欺騙了呢……
退我錢！
