The manager of this hotel forced me to made new booking for my girlfriend, event i already pay, and for the breakfast terrible and attitude of the manager of the hotel very bad, sorry for that, this my honest experience during stay at Shady Hotel

Logo ao chegar no hotel, no checkin, tentaram me vender excursões insistentemente, eu já tinha reservado uma por minha conta, falei p o recepcionista, mas mesmo assim seguia insistindo, falava q a deles era melhor e mais barato(mentira), tive q ser grosso com o cara e falar q eu nao estava interessado depois de 10x, que eu so queria ir p quarto e descansar! O quarto tinha apenas uma toalha de rosto suja, q eu pedi p trocar, banheiro e chuveiro mt ruin, agua suja. No check out, insistiram para pegar meu telefone 5x para q eles escrevessem um comentario 5estrelas no TripAdvisor! ABSURDO! Vou fazer algumas postagens sobre o hotel no meu instagram @iagotravels

Mr. Ali and Abdullah, as well as the complete hotel staff takes care of us on all aspects. They are super friendly, that make you feel like they are your family.
They provided us the best options possible for visiting so many places in few days at the best price.
They really made as feel very comfortable… you can trust them very quickly.
For sure I fully recommend Shady Hotel in Luxor, they exceeded my expectations!!!

Several days before my trip I tried to contact the hotel to confirm did they were picking me up. They said they would arrange transportation. The day before my trip I contacted to confirm they are picking up since my flight was landing around midnight. They did not return my message. I tried again before my flight to Luxor in once I landed. I Donely did not return my message, but they didn’t answer their phone with multiple items both from myself and from airport staff in Luxor. Because it was after midnight at this point and I’ve never been in Luxor, I decided to book another hotel. I’m very disappointed in their service.

Firstly, when we arrived there were no towels and sheet/blanket in the room. Then there was no Air-conditioning controller so I asked for it.
They said “it’s winter, we don’t turn the AC on, you don’t need it”. Yes it’s winter for Egypt (mind you, during the day it was 30 deg C). I do understand but we booked this hotel as it says air-conditioned on the advert as even our summer in the UK is colder than their winter. So we did say that we want it on as that's what it says in the ad. They refused at first but said okay in the end…after an hour and 2 more discussions, they kept on saying “okay” but were not turning it on. It was only when we asked for a refund so we can transfer to another hotel that they turned it on. Will never come back!
