Rose and Crown Stoke Newington

My daughter's flat is being refurbished so we had to stay here for two nights and it was a brilliant experience. Very busy pub but the rooms were quiet and we didn't hear any disturbance. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom. Excellent facilities.

I discovered the Rose & Crown after staying in Airbnb's my previous trips. My priorities are a comfy bed, a great shower, and a place that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The Rose & Crown more than delivers on all three! My daughter and her family live less than a minute's walk away, so the convenience is unbeatable, but really what makes it so special are the rooms and staff. Kate, the manager is terrific - warm and friendly and has bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had a change in my plans and needed to extend my stay which means I have experienced a variety of rooms: Single, Standard Double, Superior Double, Deluxe, and the Suite! I recommend all of them! Bule, the housekeeper, is an exceptional person who is full of positive energy: She happily moved my suitcases from room to room throughout the week! The Fish and Chips in the bar are yummy, and Ian, Dan, and Max, the bartenders, always greet me as I pass through the pub. Wonderful breakfast spread including lots of fresh fruit. This place is a gem! It was exactly what we were looking for – a small boutique hotel with a pub downstairs in a nice neighborhood outside of the hustle and bustle of the city – and it just happened to be a short 10-minute walk to our daughter's flat. Great walking neighborhood with shops, cafes, flower shops, markets; quick access to bus routes, around 30-40 minutes to the city centre; updated charming, clean, and comfortable rooms; lovely continental breakfast served in the pub with real wood-burning fires for chilly mornings; surprise terrace on the top floor; locals hanging out in the pub afternoons and evenings; truly accommodating and helpful hosts… what more could anyone want?! I recommend this property 100% and would return to stay again anytime we're in London.

Lovely location near to a beautiful park with deer & goats, lakes. Church. Bars resturants. Room was clean & quaint. 2 steep staircases to top floor which was a bit much for me. Rooftop terrace. Lovely bar area lovely staff. Continental breakfast very nice. Would stay again!

Staying at the Rose and Crown was such a wonderful experience. It was recommended to us because of its location (our son lives within walking distance) and its ambiance. It exceeded all our expectations. The staff was amazing - they could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are modern, lovely, and clean. The breakfast was plentiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pub experience, trivia night, and everything about it. We will definitely stay there again.

The Rose and Crown is very easy to get to, particularly by bus from the centre of London. Given that the rooms are above a pub, there is a warm and friendly welcome. Food served is of an excellent standard, the rooms really comfy and beautifully decorated. The breakfast of a very good standard given it is continental style.

Rose & Crown is just a magical place to me, I come here every winter for my bday - the a**osphere, the staff, and the design of the rooms are probably my favourite things. Re: the staff I love that everyone is superfriendly but in a way that's still fun and full of personality. The fireplace in the winter is lovely, and so is the roof terrace in the summer. Great location, homey and family-friendly, and good priced pints. I highly recommend, one of the most hospitable places I've stayed at!

Would highly recommend the Rose & Crown had a lovely comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Local taxi firms - Sam’s Taxis 10/10 for being on time and value for money. Better than an Uber

Very nice accommodation near to the nice park. excellent pub with a great selection of local beer , wonderful staff, highly recommend. Good accessibility to local transport, close to the city centre. It was a great pleasure
