St Giles London – A St Giles Hotel

Location was good, near Tottenham Court Road station which is one of the stops on the Elizabeth Line from the airport. Bed looks like a Super Single which barely fits 2. Room is spacious though.

The hotel is at a very Good location. The pricing is good. The receptionist and staffs are helpful. The luggage storage is free and the staff is very nice and helpful, there is value added. The room is small. The bathroom is small. The room is nearby the street, window must be closed when going to sleep. Overall, good for businessman or sole traveller.

This fantastic hotel in Central London offers affordable accommodation with a very convenient location. While the amenities are limited, it's a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a place to rest while exploring the city.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I got upgraded free to the refurbished room from the classic room I booked. Small room and bathroom but with great facilities, a window that works and blinds plus curtains that block out the light. A little noisy because of the street down below but not bad. The room had a nice new AC unit and the shower pressure was very strong, maybe a little too strong with no clear way to reduce the pressure (it's either on or off).

Very run down, unclean, and no one can prepare you for the smell. Due to the layout, corridors have protective fire doors, creating pockets of unventilated area' trapping uncirculated stale smelling odour, that clings to your clothes/belongings. The very old warn carpeting hold the smell and looks disgusting .i had a room with a window , but was so noisy, it was either put up with that or discomfort of the hot fusty room. The basic cleanliness standards were not met, the mirrors covered in greasy marks, again the walls discoloured from Where condensation dried into the wallpaper over time. The cleaners must feel so unable to do a really good job, simply because of the state of the place, and get away with it, because the management realise that nothing can really be done . So everyone becomes complicit . It seems to have become custom and practice, they should not offer these rooms in the condition, but because they can get away with it , so they do . Even the smoke/heat sensor in the room had cover missing. At £139 per night, I expected a far better experience. The basic thing anyone should expect from any hotel is a safe clean place to sleep I I never had it . I bought my own air fresher and slept with the window open . I fed this back to the manager who said if I had stated these things , they would have tried to find a better room, maybe , but if this was the case, why are they allocating these room anyway? Because they can and dd so as the vast majority of customer would be first timers, so the company already have your cash, and no real interest of you returning either. Trip & companies are somewhat responsible for their part in promoting, endorsing and selling/profiting from such accommodation, which on my opinion is not fit for purpose or delivered with appropriate care and skill.

The location of the Hotel is walking distance to other tourist attractions. There is also near by Train stations and bus stations. The Breakfast were great. The staff are very approachable. My over all stay in St. Giles is Great. The next time I visit London definitely I will choose St. Giles as my Hotel.

Great place location for all threatres transport and shops pubs and restaurants in hotel bar fabulous breakfast at extra cost well worth it

Very nice and well located. Great value for its price. Luggage service at 1 pounds.Breakfast was also good.
