The highlight of my stay at The Como Met was most definitely the service and the staff. So so helpful, knowledgable, professional and friendly especially a young man at front desk called Arjun. He is a good reflection of how a fine establishment should be run!
The rooms are a good size for London standards and I enjoyed the extra touch of wellness via the in room yoga, pilates and meditation videos with yoga mats provided.
The whole vibe of the hotel was so zen with a discreet signature scent of the Como Shambhala spa in the air.
I can’t wait to return for my next stay in April.

The two room I booked for 9 nights (23/10-1/11) stated that its size is 29 square meters, but the one i got was 23 tops and i need extra seating area for my friends there because i stayed before in the hotel and the room had a couch !!! Referring that issue to reception member (Vishua) she said that the room category i booked comes with that size and no more rooms from that category with larger size available unless I upgrade for £120 per night per room to be paid. After few days, another reception member (Tom) confirmed for me that at least one bigger room will be allocated for me by Thursday. On that day afternoon, I came to the reception and the same reception member (Vishua) repeated the same reply from day one saying there was no message from her colleague (Tom) in the system and sent a written message for me if i want an upgrade with £120 per night. I wrote a review in Google and they replied that we allocated a room for you but since my luggage was unpacked we assumed that you are happy with your room. Well I am not happy because you are contradicting yourselves and it was not a miscommunication rather trying to get extra charges on your guests. Bottom line i did not get the space i paid for nor a solution to the issue. To be fair, Special thanks to Fatima the house keeping member she was so dedicated and a happiness in this horrible situation.

Já fiquei aqui várias vezes e sempre foi ótimo, mas desta vez não foi. O café da manhã estava errado 3 dias em 4 e insuficiente (continental para uma pessoa cobrado como se fosse para dois - não totalmente removido da conta)
As contas de serviço de quarto têm acréscimo no final da estadia, e há uma “taxa de serviço geral” acrescida ao valor da diária). E ainda assim as contas do serviço de quarto têm fila para gorjeta como se nenhum serviço fosse cobrado
O quarto nunca estava pronto antes das 16h e duas vezes tive que esperar duas horas no lobby, inclusive uma quando pedi que o quarto ficasse pronto em uma hora (às 15h e eu tinha indicado atendê-lo ao meio-dia) e devolvi um uma hora depois do meu pedido para encontrar o quarto intacto, eu esperava um pacote e 5 horas depois de ele chegar ele foi encontrado apenas quando o remetente forneceu o horário e o signatário, porque o hotel insistiu que nenhum pacote havia chegado.
Vale 350-400 libras no máximo e não 600 por noite.

I used to be a regular at Como a couple of years ago before Brexit. Although the rooms are simple, the location is great and most of all I appreciated how spotless and well-maintained it always was.
I decided to give it a go again yesterday and was disappointed. The rooms are in worse shape: the tub doesn’t drain well, there’s mould around the shower stall and in the sink overflow hole. I appreciated the refreshed equipment in the gym though.

Another wonderful stay at COMO Metropolitan, great attention to detail. I had a lovely room (801) looking East towards the city - great sunrises! A superb view. Sumptuous selection in the minibar! I had excellent interactions with all the staff especially Roland Rimóczi who was incredibly helpful. I'll be back for sure.
