Good & value for money.

I'm honestly surprised about the reviews here because I had a totally different experience. Check in was easy and Anna was welcoming, getting in touch beforehand to find out what time I'd be likely to arrive. Dropped my keycard in a box on the way out as needed to leave before 9am for a course. Stayed in an Executive Apar**ent facing the road which was clean and spacious. Only used the fridge but that kept my drink nice and cold, so I'm sure the other equipment works too. The building seems like the type to retain heat, so the room was a bit warm initially for my liking but turning the radiators off and the aircon on sorted that quickly. Windows also had another hatch type window which did a great job at reducing noise from busy street. The only complaint I'd have was another group of annoying guests came back and decided to set some kind of alarm off at 2am. Noisy people can happen anywhere though, especially near central London, and I was getting perfectly good sleep before this. Not really the hotel's fault that some people are inconsiderate. I would definitely stay again though as location was perfect for me and good value.

It was great for me. Very comfy bed, hot shower, everything I needed and wanted for a one-night stay. If I'd had stayed longer, I'd have used the kitchenette, which likewise had all that was necessary. Anna was very warm and welcoming on reception. Lots of interesting places nearby to eat at. I would go back

I had a lovely stay at argyle for 2 days it was perfect for me, Anna was lovely to communicate with the only downside is there’s not a lot of local parking, but would definitely stay again

It was such a nice stay - the kitchen utensils were clean and stocked with what we could need. the hosts were so friendly and communication was so good. would definitely stay again

Had to wait 10 mins in the pouring rain as nobody was answering the door on check in, the double bed is the smallest double I have ever seen, the duvet only just covered it so it was impossible with 2 people in the bed for us both to have cover! Feet hanging out the end and who I was with is only 5ft! The room was very hot and the heating was broke so we couldn’t turn it down, we were also at the front of the building and the road noise was horrendous, very over priced for that room!!

Pros: - 10 mins from Finsbury Station, minutes’ walk from various bus lines, right opposite to Tesco, 8 mins walk from Lidl and Morrison and other grocery stores - fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer which have been super useful during our 3 week stay - We did not ask for cleaning services everyday but when the cleaning lady cleaned, she was very thorough, except for emptying the rubbish bin. Cons: - We had inquired room on ground floor (knowing we would have a lot of luggages) prior to booking and requested for the same when we booked, but they did not give us the ground floor rooms saying it was the best for us given we were for quite a long time. Not sure we understood the reasons. We thought it was because the all 3 people bedroom were upstairs but found out there are other 3 people bedrooms on ground floor also. - Not only we did not get the ground floor we requested, we found out that our room was the only one with the old, ugly, dirty tiles and many other rooms had the new, clean, wooden floor board. We could see clearly when we walked past other rooms and the cleaning ladies left the doors open. We could see that other rooms were also larger and better distributed. - Mattresses were way too soft and we were getting back pain. - We had to ask the rubbish bins to be emptied. Else it would be full and overflowing. - At daily rate of £200, we found the room very expensive, particularly given its worn look. Would have been happier if we were given the newer ground floor rooms

As I was flying from Australia (40 hrs door to door) I had requested an early check in weeks before arrival, but of course there was no record of it !!!! Also the "Deluxe Apar**ent" I was in bore no resemblance to the advertised apar**ent.
