Pictures are deceiving. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
From the lobby to the actual room. Nothing looked as they did when I booked my room online. 3 of us in one room, 2 adults & 1 child (11yrs), the double bed & the twin seemed perfect and a very small sitting area was adequate as we were only staying our final night in the UK.
I usually book based off pictures & reviews but moving forward I’ll pay attention to sq ft.
Desk between the beds with an ottoman type seat was the “sitting” area.
Decent amount of built ins for storage. Refrigerator wasn’t working, had it looked at by concierge, she said it was working. I told her to feel the inside walls (they were even remotely cold) she said the items inside felt cold. I told her that’s bc we brought them into the room cold. She said someone can look at the morning, I reminded her that we were only saying the one night so it wasn’t necessary for us, per se but for the next person that stays in that room.
Obviously, the refrigerator not working isn’t the end of the world but we did have perishables that needed to stay cold.
The stall shower filled up with water immediately. Each of us had to turn the shower off multiple times, while showering, in order to let it drain so it didn’t overflow onto the bathroom floor.
The tv is compatible to cast or log in to streaming apps. Definitely a plus as our other 2 hotels did not have that during the trip.
