Premier Inn London City (Tower Hill)

Beds were too short for someone 190 cm talll and one of the nights was a bit cold. Apart of that everything else was absolutely fine! Location very good as it is a short walk from Tower bridge and very closed to Aldgate and Tower Hill underground stations.. I definitely recommend!

타워브리지 5분 거리여서 좋았고 4시까지 룸클리닝 있으니까 그 전에만 카운터에 치워달라고 얘기하고 나가면 치워줌. 수건도 넉넉하게 주는데 살짝 방음이 안되는게 감점

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location, easy to check in and check out

I like the hotel. Clean, roomy, with big windows, wooden desk and wardrobe. The TV is nice too. It has the setting that is like home.

Chose this hotel due to the location in central London and easy access to TFL links. Unfortunately, on arrival at the hotel, we discovered that the room had no Towels available for us to use and on asking the reception staff we were told that the delivery hadn't arrived and therefore their were none available, which is unacceptable in a hotel. When we returned to the room later that night, we discovered yet another issue, the TV didn't work. We reported this to reception who advised us that maintenance would be provided shortly to resolve the problem. We didn't hear anything for the remainder of the night and it wasn't till the next day the TV was repaired. To add to the ever growing list of issues, we had a terrible night's sleep due to loud noises coming from the room above. I understand that the hotel can't be responsible for guest's behavior but on reporting this to the reception team we were told nothing could be done as the 'Good Night Guarantee' couldn't be honored at the hotel, which is clearly the opposite of the policy on the website. On my return home, I tried to contact Premier Inn on several occasions with, at time of writing, no success. Would stay Premier Inns again however would avoid this one in particular.

The premier inn at Tower Hill is as would have been expected the staff pleasant the breakfast, very good value for money. Unfortunately the room we were allocated had a noise issue with the air-con even whilst switched off the unit continues to make rattling sounds throughout the night . The mattress, despite the advertising message we found overly soft to the extent it was uncomfortable. We found the Wi-Fi signal very poor in the room also tv and mobile signals were poor the room is close to the railway I don’t know if this contributed to the poor signal strength. Finally a minor thing but I suspect somewhat annoying to most guests, the quality of the toilet paper leaves a lot to be desired, I don’t think I have come across this type of substandard single sheet distribution since the 70’s. In summary the location is good the staff are friendly just don’t let them put you in room 330!

The stay was good, the only issue was a small TV with a very bad signal. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast on the first day was excellent all you can eat full English with a good choice, 2nd day was a little disappointing everything seemed a little soggy & I had to request plates as they run out.

We are great fans of Premier Inn, they're usually clean and comfortable and good value for money. They nearly always get a good review from us but, unfortunately, not this one, not this time. The staff we had dealings did their best, Mo and Elena, but the place seemed rather disorganised. The restaurant is dreary and cheerless. It's a Thyme restaurant which in other Premier Inns can be quite good but here the menu seemed limited and it was made worse by stickers on the menus saying that several items were not available. My partner ordered a curry but five minutes later he was told that was unavailable too. The nachos were sent back because they came out without any grated cheese, soured cream or salsa. They came back with cheese on them but the soured cream and salsa "hadn't been delivered". The "skin on" chips with the fish were horrible. It's a good location, but so is the Premier Inn further along the river beside the Globe Theatre. I think we'll stay there again next time we're in London and give this one a miss.

The room was very nice, clean and quite. The staff members were friendly and supportive. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the center of the city.
