Hub by Premier Inn London Clerkenwell

A nice hotel with a cozy bar/breakfast area. Located at a walkable distance to the main attractions (2km-＞..). Room very small, BUT very clean and new-looking. The bed was really comfortable, they gave us a second blanket as we were two friends. The room is ok to sleep in, but absolutely no space to chill except on the bed. The bathroom lacked an extra toilet paper roll, towel hooks, toothbrush glass… otherwise clean. The breakfast was every day the same, but different options to choose from. Fresh croissants! I loved them. Also omelette, beans, sausages… english breakfast. Besides that, bread, yogurt, fruits and berries. No cheese/ham to put on the bread.

We stayed at the Clerkenwell for two nights as we wanted to stay at a Hub that was fairly central. It was close to Faringdon station which is where we walked to each day. The rooms were clean and well looked after. The hotel was very secure so reassuring for solo travellers, if required. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was vast and good quality. Great value for money at £8 per person. We stayed over the bank holiday weekend which seemed quite busy and I don't think the dining area catered for everyone wanting breakfast at the same time, but the staff remained cool, professional and helpful. The only thing I'd say is that the room air con wouldn't go any cooler than 21, which we found a little too warm but it didn't ruin our stay. Could do with some more hooks in the room to hang towels as well as coats maybe :)

It was just a bed for a night but it was a comfy bed, with great facilities, a lovely breakfast and friendly staff. A modern hotel with excellent facilities and in a good location.

Spend 2 nights in premier inn Hub and I thought it was a perfect hotel for short trip the Farrington station is 5 minute walk and a bus stop is right outside the door you can get anywhere you want from there, it’s quiet and pleasant, rooms are small but there is no need for big if you only need it to sleep, private bathroom with decent size shower comfortable bed and tv, the lights are adjustable too if you want to feel cozy. There was no window but I guess when you go cheap you have to give up something.

Really comfortable bed. Everything is provided for a good stay. The hotel is modern, well designed and clean. The staff are friendly and patient. The location was perfect. I liked the idea of getting tea / coffee in the lounge and appreciated the range of super interesting books.

Make time to visit the immediate surroundings of that part of London to see what there is and what it has to offer.

Left out in the cold when I arrived at 11pm as it took staff more than ten minutes to answer the doorbell. Then, the digital check in service didn’t work. I’d travelled for five hours to get there and been held up by a broken train. The last thing I needed.

Room was good, staff were friendly. However I got food poisoning from there breakfast in the morning and was being sick all day otherwise it would be 5 stars
