"Made a lunch reservation and arrived 30 minutes late, but the restaurant was empty so we didn’t inconvenience anyone. We were warmly welcomed by our waitress Penelope, who was professional and pleasant. However, another waiter (the one I spoke to on the phone) came to our table and began reprimanding us for being late, going on about their shift change. This was completely unprovoked and unnecessary, especially given that the restaurant was empty. His approach was confrontational and unprofessional, and it made the experience very uncomfortable. While Penelope’s service was great, the overall experience was disappointing because of this interaction."

"Really lovely hotel set in the mountainside with a jungle like atmosphere with the beautiful gardens overlooking a great Mountain landscape view. We stayed here for one night on our way from Kruger to St. Lucia and had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and the food was also very good. The gardens are absolutely beautiful to wake up to with a cup of coffee and the sunrise. Would stay here again. Rooms are also nice. We had two rooms which have some nice privacy with a private section of a patio overlooking the gardens. Thanks so much for a nice stay!"
