AR Bolero Park

This place is absolutely disgusting!! Went with family as a last min deal away, didn't know where i was staying until i arrived as they found the place and my god i knew from the second we pulled up i was going to hate it. We were greated by rusty metal bars, so looked like a prison. Believe me, i think a spanish prison would of been nicer!! My room was basically in touching distance of the opposite side of the hotel. I did not feel safe, so slept in another family's room. We slept with a table and chairs up against the door, it was that bad!! Pool was disgusting, room was filthy. Seriously stay clear or you'll regret it and probably also need a tetanus after!!!!

Arrived back this morning from a week in this complex. We didn't pay huge money as it was a quick family get away but not as described. In need of renovation. An electrican a painter and a tiler. We were charged €600 deposit for our three apartments loveholiday who we booked it clearly stated €100 for family the entire complex needs major work. I asked for groundfloor room by email weeks before, as I don't like steps I was put in disabled room on first floor which I didn't ask for when I went to reception I was told it had no steps so was better choice!. If you where in a wheelchair you would not have been able to get on balcony it was tiny, barely fitted two chairs and make your way into bedroom or around beds. The bathroom had an ancient sliding door so you where either stuck in loo or trying to get in kept jamming no track to speak off. The Bar the regency wasn't open (looks like it may not have been in years) there was no hairdressers, the wok resturant as advertised not open. Billards and table tennis no existent. So we where left with pool bar opened 9 till 7pm but closed twice before 6 and there where people around. The pools where fine although the Jacuzzis had one jet working. The towels are changed every four days, day 5 I ask housekeeper outside my door and she said ten mins three hours later still hadn't arrived eventually sorted at reception. None of our other 3 rooms in our party got fresh towels. You also have to empty all bins on main street and wash dishes etc. Toilet paper was 50c a roll in reception. While I totally understand staff shortages etc these things are not acceptable. Definitely not a three star. For a cheap break if your out to get plastered or teenagers probably perfect.

When we arrived we had to give a €200 deposit PER ROOM and told our room was ready. Got the key card scanned it at least 4 times to get in the room. Room was NOT ready. Urine all over the toilet seat and room was just a mess. Went down to reception and she apologised and sent someone up. When it was ‘cleaned’ (took the woman 10 seconds to clean the room) we found mould over all the curtains, floor in room and on balcony were disgusting, shower head was nearly falling off and could see it was previously glued back on. Tried to make the most so went down to the pool. It was FILTHY I cannot even guess how long that pool wasn’t cleaned for. Sun-loungers disgusting didn’t even want to put our towels on them. That whole stay I did not see one cleaner/maid. Our rooms were untouched the whole stay, clean towels put in 4 days into stay. Had to ask for kettle and toaster. Had to take out our own bins. Had to leave our dirty towels outside the room to be collected. A couple nights into our stay I was sitting on my bed and the security guard shined his light into my window shaking his finger at me. I did not feel safe in that hotel. All other staff were very friendly the place is just VERY UNDERSTAFFED. The building itself is so outdated it looked like it was gonna collapse. Balcony chairs had dried blood and dirt on them and the rail of the balcony shook. The hotel is in a nice location but I will not be returning to this hotel

Arrived and they tried to charge us €100 each (2 people) when we had already read it’s only €50 each on the hotel description and they acted asif they didn’t know this. Got to our room and the toilet flusher had snapped off so we had to move rooms and this time the toilet flushed once every hour. Sofa was covered in dirty stains, no TV remote, no kettle , bathroom was pleasant enough , bedroom beds were clean enough . Staff quiet rude and miserable, food expensive and not much variety of choice. There must be 45 sun beds and 25 are broken. The pool is a nice pool to look at but not kept clean at all. Finally, you enter your room with a card you put in a slot , I must have gone to get it re scanned about 6 times in 3 days and room wasn’t cleaned the cleaner Just took our towels and put new ones in. Make you mop, sweep and take your bins out on departure. Wont be returning.

If I could give this hotel a minus 5 it still would not be enough, the room was filthy stains on the curtains an the sofas, fridge had a disgusting smell in it the bathroom door and a wall in the living room was rotten through damp they tried to charge us 400 euro but we stood firm and got the loveholiday website up stating 50 euro per person, so only paid 200 euro deposit. For a self catering hotel you HAD TO ASK for a kettle and toaster they don't own an iron. The staff are rude an generally unhelpful. Towels are meant to be changed on the 4th day ours was on the 2nd day and we asked for more clean towels an got told we arnt on the list we asked for more toilet rolls she said ok, we never got them had to buy our own. The lift was disgusting all smudge and dirt marks all over it and it wasn't once cleaned in the week we was there actually never saw a cleaner the whole time we was there. All the staff need training in customer service skills and the owners need to do some drastic work in the hotel inside and out the lift button on the third floor the panel was hanging off someone could get electrocuted. My advise dont book this hotel its absolutely disgusting. On arrival to one of our rooms there was a cotton bud by the bed obviously from the last guests so the room wasn't brushed or mopped. Worst place I have ever stayed. The pool side bed most were broken and some were just disgustingly dirty.

we as a family of eight booked this hotel through the loveholidays website. the hotel has been pre-paid, there is no information on the website that everyone must pay another deposit of £ 200 upon arrival.service at the reception was terrible, they spoke poorly in English. we have a small child with whom we had to wait one hour at the reception for a room key after 11 at night I do not recommend it, I will never stay in this place again.

Just left the apartments after 6 nights away. We were cautious after reading some bad reviews but arrived to a spacious and clean apartment where everything was in perfect working order so slightly confused about some of the previous comments. Bed and linen clean. Air con good and quiet. The flush on the toilet was perhaps what you might call temperamental. We worked out that if you flush it too many times close together, it just needs to be left a moment and will flush perfectly fine. Reception provide a kettle and a toaster no issue - all you have to do is ask! I’m not sure what is so ‘disappointing’ about buying your own loo roll in self catering apartments. We were provided with 2 on arrival, and then you can either buy a pack from the supermarket which is 30 seconds away, or from reception for 50c per roll. There was no karaoke until 2am, in fact it was very quiet of an evening with only some noise from a nearby hotel but even that wasn’t enough to be a problem. The hotel were proactive about sorting noise at night and there was a security guard throughout the night doing regular checks around the grounds. You can hear some doors being opened and chairs being moved as you do if you’re in an apartment back home. The pool area was basic but clean enough, as were the pool toilets. (No faeces everywhere as previously suggested). Staff were pleasant and you’ll be pleased to know we had no night time intruders! There is a small, quiet beach just an easy 10 minute walk away via a really cute little green grocers selling fresh fruit. Lloret de Mar main beach also about 10 minutes in the opposite direction - busier and more going on there but also nice. There is a main ***** which is lively and has lots of bars and clubs, and there is also a really nice quieter bit with lovely bars and restaurants; so many shops that we didn’t even have time to look in them all, lots of lovely places for ice cream and lunch time food. When I rate it 4 stars, I’m not saying it’s the Marriott - I’m saying it was as advertised and good value for money. I’m not sure whether other people were expecting The Ritz but I was expecting to get what I paid for. The cost of staying here was minuscule and for that, we had a clean and basic base in an amazing location.

we arrived here on the 24th of August. The check in was a surprise as we knew their was a deposit but not of 200 euro!! We went up to our room to find that the room we were gave had 2 pull out sofa beds ... for 3 people?? We went back down to reception to ask to be moved and the night porter couldn't be less helpful. Argued with me that the room was for 3 people. I had to sleep on a sofa that night. The next day we spoke to the manager and even he said the room was for 2 adults and a baby. He offered to move us but with a price. Thankfully he did not charge us. The bed was comfortable and really good air con. Only thing was the toilet was temperamental, the shower head was broke and the balcony door from the bed room was completely broken with a nail hanging loose. The pool and bar was nice to relax at only thing some of the sun beds are broke and cigarette butts lying everywhere,The beach and the town was in walking distance. The pool toilets had faeces on the wall and on the sink and no soap!!! The whole week we stayed was not cleaned once!!!! We ran out of the 2 rolls of tpilrt roll gave for a week and 3 people and was charged for more Unbelievable. The towels weren't serviced and thankfully they had a notice on the wall that states they are meant to be done every 4 days, they would have charged us other wise!!! Also keep your balcony doors closed as theirs rats everywhere never mind the ants!!! Their was cigarette butt on the hall way that hadn't been cleaned for days! My advice to the staff is to get better customer service skills!!!! You defiantly get what you pay for.

Absolutely outrageous hotel, terrible hospitality!!! DEFINITELY NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL Booked this summer 2022 for our family holiday… the biggest mistake Staff - the majority of staff were okay, nobody that stood out as even friendly though to be honest. When we arrived we were greeted with a man shouting at us to “WAIT!!” as he was on his computer! An absolutely disgraceful welcome after spending thousands of pounds on this holiday. When it came down to leaving as well, we were made to empty and change our own bins! Cleanliness - HOW DO I EVEN BEGIN! Not even suitable for animals, filthy apartments! No maids, you can see it hasn’t been cleaned since it first opened. The beds have urine stains on the mattress, body hair on the bed sheets from the people that stayed before. Curtains are riddled with mould, there were stains all in the toilet when we first arrived! Grimy Dust in the kitchen area, didn’t use the facilities once! The amount of filth on the floor is explained by just looking at the picture of the suitcase. Even around the pool area is disgusting, teenagers literally spitting into the water, absolutely nothing was clean. Resort - the place as a whole (Lloret de mar) is extremely run down, not very much around. Seems very much like a popular place for teenagers (and ones with absolutely no manners) people doing ***** everywhere! Not a place for families. Very little choice of restaurants, shops etc… the beach is the only positive! We visited the town Tossa de mar which is not far… much nicer place, would recommend you to choose that instead of here.
