Greenbank Lodge Llangollen

My room was lovely and it was warm, great shower and a comfortable bed. The Hall Street car park was full when I arrived but luckily there was free parking in the road opposite and I couldn't spot any parking restrictions. A noisy group disturbed my early night on Saturday but not for long and consideration for other guests is suggested by the owners.

great room but not very disabled friendly as there are steps up to the door and then there are stairs to most of the rooms I think we were the only people in the Lodge so it was very quiet I did buy bleach as the sink drain smelt a bit we had a shower and bath in the room and we had a lovely sitting room to watch telly and there were plenty of plug sockets in both rooms we would stop there again as it wasn't far to walk into the town center or most of the attractions

Absolutely perfect cottage for two. Close to all amenities & the heritage railway (the reason for our visit) but completely dark & totally silent of an evening for a great nights sleep in a really comfy bed. Excellent wi-fi signal. The only things missing were a grill pan in the oven & instructions on how to work the heating. Loved our stay & would definitely return. Thankyou.

The room was comfortable and clean. Llangollen is a great location and the hotel was well situated. However, we had an issue with the room due to a message not getting to the owner from *******. He was not helpful and wanted to charge us £5 to resolve this minor issue. The room was not tidied while we were out. No dining options at all. Not even a decent cup of coffee in the morning. We had to drive to get breakfast in before 9.

Reasonably priced. Convenient location. Great communication. Easy check-in. Clean and well-appointed. Yes - there are 10-12 steps to the front door and more steps inside if you are on the 2nd floor - so it is not accessible. The steps and front court yard could use some ****ing but it was not overgrown. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location with long stay car park next door. Only small gripe is that radiators were left on in August with windows open. I turned them off straight away, but this seems so wasteful

Central location with all the restaurants and pubs within 5mins walking! Room was spacious but Building little bit outdated though overall we had a good couple of nights there!

Just had a lovely family break at the lodge, booked three rooms for a long weekend break with the family. All enquires we had prior to our visit were replied to promptly. Our first impression on arrival was the front of the building and entrance hall were a little disappointing, both need a bit of TLC and belie the quality of the rooms. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly Ellese, the hotel manager, who throughout our stay went over and above to accommodate our wishes and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious, very clean and decorated to a good standard, lovely touch of complementary ground coffee with a cafetiere plus good quality tea with a teapot. This was a great location for our visit, ideally placed to explore Llangollen within walking distance to the town centre. We were given free parking too. My only ******* are the carpets throughout the lodge need replacing as a bit thread bare and a tad smelly in our room, and the stair well needs a dusting in the corners.
