Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, the bar area was superb with sofas, the reception staff took the time to come and sit and chat to you, newly refurbished and the staff can’t do enough for you, I will definitely be returning next year, as it is so good

Convenient for beach area. Breakfast was fine and very good value. Room is a tad small - workable, functional but ‘cosy’.

Staff very helpful and standard of cleanliness of rooms good. Decent quality breakfast but this costs extra to the cost of the room. I stayed here previously (About four days prior) and reported a couple of screws that were falling out of the door handle cover and the TV kept dropping out of reception. Neither of these faults had been fixed by the time I returned and I only got to watch any TV because the staff gave me theirs to borrow.

One night stay and can't fault the place. Friends staff, clean and comfy rooms and the breakfast was excellent. My only 2 tiny issues, 1. No terrestrial tv but you can watch bbc iplayer, itv hub etc. 2. The pillows for me were to hard. I'd definitely go back here if I go back to Machynys golf club.

Spotless, comfortable, friendly, good value for money, ample parking. Very stressed after a long rainy drive. Arrived really late. Reception open and welcoming. Booked on their own website, best value.

Lovely staff, made us very welcome. Rooms are tidy and modern and clean. Nice touches with chocolate and a beer. Shower good bed very comfortable. Close to town centre.

This was a nice surprice! I booked a cheap hotel, but got more than expected! Not what I expected after reading some other reviews, but I learned that the management has changed and the obvious Covid problems were the largest cause of these reviews. After a very nice welcome I went directly to my room, which was clean, convenient and with a good filled welcome plate (tea, coffee, hot chocolate and off course the chocolats on one of the many pillows..) A clean and fine bathroom, good bed (not very hard, exactly my style), so oke for me. Next morning there was a good breakfast possible and I took the ‘full continental’. Top! Shortly spoke to the kind manager who is very busy making the hotel also a place for all kind of arrangements (they had already converted part of the hotel into a small conference room) and all kind of dining options/evenings for locals or groups of tourists, which would make the hotel even more a place to be and a basis to look in the very nice surroundings in this part of Wales. When I come back, I will surely use this hotel again.

Generally the property outside was in a poor condition, the advertised bar & restaurant were both closed so no food on site and no refund for this lack of amenity Would not consider staying there again overpriced for the limited facilities could have stayed at Stradey Park for a few pounds more. not value for money
