DoubleTree by Hilton Lisle Naperville

When we first walked in, their was someone standing at the front desk waiting to greet us, unlike most hotels where you have to wait around for somebody's help. We received cookies, which were a pleasant surprise, extremely delicious, and warm. Check in was really easy, the person at the front desk was very pleasant we could tell she liked her job, she was also efficient and fast. The room was very clean and didn't smell like pets or cigarettes, like most hotel rooms do even though they say they are non smoking. We did notice the furniture was outdated and heavily used; however it is  expected, because it is a hotel room. We did not come to sit in the room and look at the 4 walls, we wanted to experience the amenities the hotel provides.     I walked in with low expectations because every hotel I've been to with a pool and a hot tub one or the other does not work. This is even after calling the hotel before booking a reservation we end up being disappointed. I was extremely satisfied when both the pool and hot tub were operational and clean. The pool towels were actually on the deck so you didn't have to go to the front desk to get them. There was an incident at the pool with 3 young teens who couldn't handle a certain kind of substance and the one ended up vomiting and all the girls ran away with out reporting it. When we called the front desk they came quickly and cleaned it up. There was a small fitness center off to the side of the pool and was well kept and clean.  Breakfast was organized, the food was cooked in variation, which I enjoyed, because I do not like my food overdone. The waiter was super friendly and very attentive to our needs they will definitely have my business again.

Service was fast and friendly and the environment/ neighborhood it was in was very posh and elegant. Very close to many places we’ve never been to before. Yummy breakfast at honey jam and it was right next a crumbl cookie! Can you tell we are from Ohio yet? Also highly recommend if you want a travel tattoo noodles tattoo was only a 5ish minute drive from the hotel and all of their staff was also amazing. Just expressing that this was a very good stay and will be back in the near future

酒店有點老了，不過因為回國做核酸，離檢測機構近，就住下了。前台給了曲奇餅，我當作晚飯吃了。當天下雪了，感覺房間有點冷。

Michael at the front desk went out of his way to ensure we had the adjoining rooms we had requested. I really appreciated that. The restaurant staff were exceptionally nice in helping us with our four children picking out food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at the breakfast buffet- although pricy for adults was a good deal for the kids.

It was very cold in our room.we set the therm to 80 and did not heat up past 60. Also was surprised the room didn’t have a microwave or a little fridge. Otherwise very comfortable. Bed was nice. Shower was hot.

We have never had such a bad experience at a hotel. As soon as u enter ur room. It smells like old carpet, maple syrup, burnt coffee and cigarette. Our room, 321. The phone did not work in there. We used our personal phones for anything room/guest services. The gym. No water in there. Even though we asked our first night. Machines were broken and old. Smelled bad in the gym. The pool, the water looked murky. Pool floors dirty. No towels the first night. And when i asked. The FD man scorned me for being in the pool, saying it was already closed, told him we didnt know, no1 came to close it. Lights to the poolwere off the 2nd night. Took them 10min. Hot tub has super loud jets, and floor feels grainy. Windows to the pool were super dirty. So were the vents. Mold on ceiling. Chipped paint. Omg. The room. No microwave. No fridge. Bed was so so so uncomfortable. Didnt sleep well. Pillows flattened so much. We noticed people left their dirty plates/glasses outside in the hallways to be picked up and they were there for hours!!!. U can tell it was short staffed. But more so, this place lacks funds. The owner should not be operating it in these conditions. Will not be back nor recommend.

Clean but a little dated. The beds are very comfortable and the location is convenient to the highway. Perfectly good option for business travel.

The hotel was nice to stay at. We stayed there and was able to get the room cleaned without having to ask and we know that's not often that happens now! The front clerk was super nice.

At least half the machines in the gym were malfunctioning. The bathroom plumbing required multiple calls to the front desk, and we didn’t get the housekeeping visit we called to request.
