Kassavetis Center - Hotel Studios & Apartments

The reception staff were great. I got great tips from them on almost every issue, with a beautiful smile. The location of the hotel was also excellently close to all possible services. However, the interior of the hotel should already be updated for the 21st century. The furniture was already shabby, but still functional. I was there at the beginning of the holiday season, so the hotel was really quiet and the pool area was not crowded at all. I was able to enjoy them as if they were only for my personal use. You can easily get to the sea for a morning swim directly from below your balcony, between the restaurants. However, there were already enough tourists in the city for the nightclubs on the boulevard, and that's why the music continued at night until the early hours of the morning. I recommend earplugs for people with sensitive ears. Especially in studios with a sea view. All in all, such a nice holiday that I will definitely come again with my family.

Rooms were basic but very clean. Staff were amazing and helpful great location would definitely return. Pool area lovely and felt comfortable. All staff friendly from when we arrived till we left. Had enjoyable holiday. No complaints

Booked 9 nights at the Kassavetis,on arrival very busy check in area,filled out the paperwork and asked to wait a little while while they attended to everyone else as was told someone needed to show us to our room. 20 mins later we then informed that our room wasn’t in the main building but ‘100 yds’ up the road. This turned out to be about 300-400 yards up the road,lugging suitcases and water we’d just bought through a very lively ***** of clubs/bars. We ‘upgraded’ for a sea view room and not informed at the time it was above one of the busiest clubs in Hersonissos-El Paradiso which every evening has the same loud music playing on the same loop until 5-7am. By the end of our stay we could say which song was coming on next. We could not sleep on some occasions and you will definitely need earplugs. We would have asked to swap rooms however was told on arrival when we enquired about keeping the room on for our last day that the hotel was full so this was not an option to then be told on our last day that they could have accommodated a swap if we’d have asked. The room was also up two flights of stairs. Also be prepared to be hassled by the bar/club reps every time you leave your room,some are very persistent with their offers of free shots and poor 2for1 cocktails and gets very annoying very quickly. The room itself was a good size and had everything we needed. Free aircon too which was a bonus and throughout the morning and daytime we did enjoy the sea views we had paid for. The room wasn’t the cleanest (not the cleaners fault) don’t look at the mattresses as they are covered in brown stains and we didn’t like the grubby shower curtain either,it felt very unhygienic. The cleaner came daily with fresh towels and to change beds etc. The pool area was really good, plenty of sunbeds to use however because we weren’t in the main hotel complex we didn’t use it as much as we would usually as it meant another trek through the bars etc If we’d have stayed in the main hotel we would have probably had different and better experience and probably would return however due to the noise we felt it really spoiled our expectations of a tranquil,sea view room and the view alone is not enough to compensate. If booking this hotel definitely ask for ‘city view’ room!

Location is good very central and extremely loud! we travelled as a family ...but! we booked a superior sea view arrived at midnight my son and girlfriend were shown to their room, receptionist said before we were even shown our room come back in the morning and we will change your room! (Alarm bells right there) we then had to walk through a very busy street full of partying youngsters with our luggage and was shown a room above a night club that was extremely small, the doors, headbords and all other fixtures rattled with the extreme noise of the music that went on until 6am yep no sleep whatsoever. We were moved to a fabulous room in the main building. There is absolutely no issue with sunbeds as the partygoers sleep all day they surface around 4pm and the pool comes alive we paid for a superior sea view room please be assured that our first room most definitely was not superior! All in all hotel was nice enough the music around the pool is very loud even when there was no one there! Do not book this hotel unless you have ear plugs the partygoers coming home throughout the night was quite loud my earplugs were the best item I packed! Staff are lovely Rooms were a lovely size and clean Excellent location but more of a hotel for partying kids than families

Great location, because the hotel is in the center of town . Nice hotel with a small kitchen, swimming pools. Breakfast was ok. The hollidays were very good and I would come back. Nice hotel for sleeping, taking shower, have breakfast and go for swimming near the swimming pool or the sea. Very good location , near the Sea, a lot restorants are near. Thank you.

The hosts were nice, but the apartments were not like the photos at all, they were a lot dirtier, the location itself is also different (for the apartments) and you will have to walk a couple of blocks if you want to swim in their pool, you do actually have a nice view on the see from this other location though. It’s definitely not meant for families with children or for people who want to rest, it’s on the boulevard, where they will party from 10-11 till 6 in the morning, so don’t go there with you’re a family.

The hotel has an low and old fashioned style but the rooms are clean and staff very helpful and friendly. But the noise from party street and nightclubs are annoying, at least in the section near the beach. It's full of Dutch youngsters who's partying and trying too wake everybody up when they come home in the morning. So it's not suitable for families with small kids.

Ok, I'm not having a go at the people who run the hotel/apartments they were very good. Problem is we booked last minute and had friends staying in the area and tried to book as close as possible. Again the staff are lovely but it's not for over 30s or families, it's full of Dutch teenagers looking to party (which is great if your one of them) The location is fantastic and the place itself is lovely, you are literally in the middle of everything and if you want to party you can. 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction there are some very nice restaurants and they are all reasonably priced Overall it's a beautiful place, again be warned this hotel is not really for families. The bar and restaurant attached to the hotel is run by a lovely family and the food is great
