Cook's Club Hersonissos Crete

Brilliant hotel, stylish, modern and most of all, amazing staff. The staff here are super helpful and hard-working - they are simply brilliant. On our first night there was an issue with the room we were supposed to be booked in for, and were put up in a sister hotel nearby for that night. But we didn’t mind too much as it was late-hours and me and my brother were just ready to crash for the night anyway. But Maria at the desk that night was incredibly sympathetic and made sure we were well looked after. The next morning - we were promptly given our room, plus to our surprise was offered an upgrade to the room - plus half-board for three days and a free beer each. We just took the free beer and the half board and stuck with the original room to not take advantage. But the gesture meant a lot, even if we weren’t hugely inconvenienced by that one night. Another amazing staff member we met here is Erica - she’s super welcoming and talkative and helped us learn a-lot of really useful Greek survival phrases. Thanks Erica! Other great things to mention at the hotel are the free gym, the spa (a paid extra), and the brilliant food. The food is great value for money and generous, not to mention just damn delicious! Our one-and-only complaint is that the drink prices are quite steep compared to bars nearby - most hotel barest it’s the opposite. But hey - that’s minor just minor nit-picking for the sake of feedback. So, if you want a relaxed, modern hotel, that serves as the perfect base for Hersonissos - come here. You’re guaranteed to leave with new friends.

The hotel is really good ! And very well located only a 3min walk from the beach . The breakfast really good , you have so many choises! For lunch and evening diner ...amazing they make everything fresh and taste so goood ! ! The staff are super friendly !!! I Definitely would recommand this hotel !!! Acros the streets we rented a car for a few days from Carrera also friendly people ! 1 day after when we returned the car , they call us back cause the girlfriend forgot her purse in the car and she didnt even noticed that she lost it.

We stayed at Cooks Club 15th-22nd May. It has a great central location, with easy access to bars and shops. We booked a suite as 3 adults. This is a larger space. It has two separate bedrooms, a small kitchenette (but no utensils or kettle), a lounge area with a TV and two balconies (one overlooking the pool just off the lounge and the other off the master bedroom) The master bedroom was at the back of the suite with large with a TV. It has a shower room with a sink (no toilet) The second bedroom is closer to the pool. The suite also has a second shower room and a separate toilet. It would have been nice to have a toilet in the ensuite shower room. It was a nice clean room and everything worked as it should. The room was cleaned daily and the air conditioning was good. Checking in took a while as we had to fill in a form for everyone and the download the app. Not ideal when arriving late like we did but I guess it has to be done. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast ran until 11am which was great if you had had a late night before. Brilliant range of everything from cooked breakfast and omelettes to waffles and pancakes. Lunch was lovely too and easy to use the app to pay for. You pay your tab when checking out. Overall the hotel got busier as the week went on, music ran throughout the day but it wasn't too loud. Towards the end of the week we were struggling to find a sunbed. The evening vibe was quite chilled out with everything wound down around 11pm. Drinks cost around the same as the local bars (cocktails around 10E) The pool was a bit cold so we went to find the indoor pool. This was run by the onsite spa - they wanted 30E per 30 minutes per person (reduced to 20E if you booked a treatment - we did not end up using the indoor pool. On our last day we were able to book a shower room after checkout and use the luggage room, this meant we could make the most of our last day. We are in our 40's and found there was a good mix of ages, although there were quite a few younger people. We had an amazing time and would book a Cooks Club again.

It was absolutely enjoyable! I was on a solo trip and I liked it so much. The hotel it’s more for partz people and directly at the beach. The hotel is close to the airport and has a nice spa with facials and massages. I can really commend it. Good food and low prices

Best time for everyone, with your partner, with Friends or alone, it doesnt matter because everyone will be happy!!! The stuff is more than just nice! A great expirience! I come here every year and I Fall in love everytime! Highly recommend!

A very nice hotel with friendly staff, the room we got was more spacious than we expected, which we were very happy about. The only downside was that the sun beds by the pool were often reserved by towels and left empty for several hours which meant that the people actually tanning wasn’t able to use these beds. Still, we are very happy with our experience with the hotel, especially with its location, where there is a short walk to almost everything.

Amazing hotel with super friendly, helpful staff! Hotel rooms were clean and spacious- perfect for my partner and i. Food was absolutely fantastic and drinks were reasonably priced! Evening entertainment was okay but was quiet in terms of no one being about. However, as your right on the ***** of Hersonissos we went out most nights- so it didn’t matter too much to us! The pool was a perfect size and there were enough sunbeds!

We just got back from Crete few days ago, we spent a week with my family. Hotel is nice, for price and quality it's alright. Few things what we were missing in the room: robes, kettle, iron in the room not asking in reception for that. In our parents room battery was missing in the TV remote, but once asked we got it. Other than that all good, stay was pleasant, breakfast was very good, full of options. Special thanks for Erika, she was so lovely, it was so nice meeting her and talking to her:)

The spa was amazing ! Staff really sweet and friendly. The massage itself was great definitely recommend :) we choose the 30 minute back and shoulder and was perfect definitely a lovely treat for your holiday. Would go back again as felt super relaxed afterwards.
