A hotel with a view of the snow-capped mountains. This is my second time staying here. It is very cost-effective. It is very convenient to Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. The breakfast is also good. You can eat your favorite rice noodles. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the large terrace outside the restaurant.

That was a great experience. It was hard to choose between Intercontinental and Indigo. I personally prefer Indigo because of our experience in Japan and of the attention to detail. The prices were the same at both hotels and you can use the amenities of both, which is great. The breakfast at Intercontinental is better, the bacon in Indigo is Chinese style and it’s not a buffet breakfast. Need to order from the menu. I liked the unique story of Indigo about the Tea horse road. Intercontinental has a larger area, but both hotels are beautiful. The staff at Intercontinental speaks better English. The staff at both hotels were helpful and attentive. We got an upgrade in Indigo to a Mountain View room but only because first we got a wall view and I asked for an upgrade. Indigo is quiet and peaceful, but very close to Intercontinental. The rooms are huge and amazing. In the end, choose the hotel based on the room style you prefer. All the other stuff can be shared. Thank you for a nice stay in Lijiang. The location is convenient and quiet. We went to Hyatt and Pullman for dinner, but they were far from the Lijiang old town and it was difficult to find transportation, it took us 50 minutes to get didi, the hotels are just okay compare to Intercontinental and Indigo. I recommend staying at Intercontinental or Indigo for a satisfying experience. 👍

Super loved our stay at Intercontinental Lijiang. Hotel location is fantastic, the main entrance is along the road hence cars can enter and drop you off directly at the main lobby. The side gate of the hotel leads directly into the ancient town. There is no need to drag your luggage through the rocky roads of the ancient town. Buggy service to and fro the main lobby and rooms are available 24/7. Amenities are good, with an indoor pool and sauna as well as a in-house spa centre. The cafe in the lobby has a very beautiful view of the snow mountain, and is nice to have tea there to enjoy the view. They even have a dyson hair dryer in every room too. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Jinmao Hotel is famous for its beautiful environment. I like the courtyard and natural beauty here. It made our stay very comfortable. To improve: the attitude of the service staff is uneven. Some service staff are very patient, and some service staff have a bad attitude. Just like the service staff at the counter, we wanted to ask her for help on the last day to go to the train station. She frowned and asked us to go to another department for assistance. We felt that we disturbed her busy work. When we went to another department, they said that they all listened to the arrangements of the front desk. At that time, we felt that they could not help guests solve such a small problem. I hope that the hotel management can see our feedback and train some service staff who need improvement. Fortunately, the manager Jennifer contacted us in time to help us solve the problem and kept apologizing to us, which alleviated our bad impression of them. The B&B is right next to Shuhe Ancient Town. A small road goes directly in, but the car can reach the door of the B&B, which is very convenient for dragging luggage. The service is also very good, and the attitude is also very good. We upgraded to a suite, which is very large and spacious. However, the internal facilities of the room are a bit old, such as the sound of wood expansion and contraction, and the electrical facilities are not very sensitive, but overall it will not affect the living. I will go there again if I have the opportunity. Shuhe Ancient Town is also suitable for a slow stroll.

Went to Lijiang with my elderly parents. Selected this hotel based on its location, which is outside of the ancient city, but near enough to walk to. There is no need to lug suitcases on cobblestone road and there is a lift to every floor so it was elder-friendly. It is also not far from Heilongtan. We stayed here for 3 nights. Got complimentary room upgrade. Staff are friendly and helpful, all the way from from the main reception, to housekeepers, to cafe, to breakfast crew. When tired from walking around town, mahjong was also available. Cannot remember everyone by name, but would like to thank the whole team, 小娟，安娜 for a wonderful stay.

This trip to Lijiang was simply amazing. The weather in Lijiang was very good, which added infinite comfort to the entire trip. I was very reluctant to leave. The B&B I stayed in was also very good.
