Easy to find as is the tallest building in the town. The hotel has two parts to it- the International main building and a smaller 'local' style Which is where is stayed. Really lovely setting Just wasn't too impressed by the room Which had obviously seen better days. Pool on roof with a great view was a nice touch and breakfast had me set off for my journey in a good mood. Would come again, Just Hope for a better room. PS: Collins at reception speaks English Really well and has been working at the hotel since it was built twenty years ago and is a great Welcome host

The reception service staff is very good. The hotel is very convenient to travel. When I went to stay on the first day, I encountered loud noises all night and stayed on the top floor. But in the morning I came down to change to a new room and considered the service to be good.

Pick up service is available at the high speed train station. We traveled from Shangarila. Check-in in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and get the room key to stay, no need to wait. A hotel with a view of the snow-capped mountains. This is my second time staying here. It is very cost-effective. It is very convenient to Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. The breakfast is also good. You can eat your favorite rice noodles. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the large terrace outside the restaurant.

That was a great experience. It was hard to choose between Intercontinental and Indigo. I personally prefer Indigo because of our experience in Japan and of the attention to detail. The prices were the same at both hotels and you can use the amenities of both, which is great. The breakfast at Intercontinental is better, the bacon in Indigo is Chinese style and it’s not a buffet breakfast. Need to order from the menu. I liked the unique story of Indigo about the Tea horse road. Intercontinental has a larger area, but both hotels are beautiful. The staff at Intercontinental speaks better English. The staff at both hotels were helpful and attentive. We got an upgrade in Indigo to a Mountain View room but only because first we got a wall view and I asked for an upgrade. Indigo is quiet and peaceful, but very close to Intercontinental. The rooms are huge and amazing. In the end, choose the hotel based on the room style you prefer. All the other stuff can be shared. Thank you for a nice stay in Lijiang. The location is convenient and quiet. We went to Hyatt and Pullman for dinner, but they were far from the Lijiang old town and it was difficult to find transportation, it took us 50 minutes to get didi, the hotels are just okay compare to Intercontinental and Indigo. I recommend staying at Intercontinental or Indigo for a satisfying experience. 👍

Super loved our stay at Intercontinental Lijiang. Hotel location is fantastic, the main entrance is along the road hence cars can enter and drop you off directly at the main lobby. The side gate of the hotel leads directly into the ancient town. There is no need to drag your luggage through the rocky roads of the ancient town. Buggy service to and fro the main lobby and rooms are available 24/7. Amenities are good, with an indoor pool and sauna as well as a in-house spa centre. The cafe in the lobby has a very beautiful view of the snow mountain, and is nice to have tea there to enjoy the view. They even have a dyson hair dryer in every room too. Highly recommend 👍🏼

It's a little dated inside but still a beautiful accommodation. It's like a small house that has its own little but well manicured courtyard. The bedroom has large glass panels from floor to ceiling that open onto the courtyard. The hotel is more like a town with a large pond in the center with beautiful flowers, bamboo, lots of song birds and trees. Highly recommend, especially if you love classical Chinese architecture.

On this trip to Yunnan, the Jinlin Wyndham in Lijiang is the most beautiful. You can sit in the courtyard and drink tea leisurely. The room is very clean. When you see children, the cleaning aunt is very considerate and takes the initiative to ask if there are any. I didn't need anything in particular, but I also took the initiative to send the children's slippers and toothbrushes to the room. I'm very grateful. On the road inside the hotel, you can also see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, although it's a little obscured, but it's still a surprise. There's also Maple Leaf Alley, which I like very much.
