This hotel is located within walking distance to the old city of Lijiang. Since it is one of the tallest buildings in Lijiang, it allows a great view of the snow-capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The room itself is comfortable, but you can hear the people from the next room when they talk. The breakfast is good, but it is the same every day. The hotel boats a swimming pool and sauna, but when I asked about them, I was told they are closed.

The reception service staff is very good. The hotel is very convenient to travel. When I went to stay on the first day, I encountered loud noises all night and stayed on the top floor. But in the morning I came down to change to a new room and considered the service to be good.

We stayed here for two days and the service was spectacular. The rooms were big and clean with all the amenities stated in the booking. The staff was super friendly in guiding us to the local eateries and even taking us around hotspots of Lijiang personally. The trip was spectacular and if we ever come back to lijiang, we’ll book this hotel again

A hotel with a view of the snow-capped mountains. This is my second time staying here. It is very cost-effective. It is very convenient to Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. The breakfast is also good. You can eat your favorite rice noodles. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the large terrace outside the restaurant.

Excellent place for a family retreat. Located in a quiet alley yet steps away from the bustling main street, Guan Xin offers great accommodation and personal attention to our needs. The rooms are well designed and spacious. We only have good things to say after staying here for 3 nights for a family outing for 11 pax. That was a great experience. It was hard to choose between Intercontinental and Indigo. I personally prefer Indigo because of our experience in Japan and of the attention to detail. The prices were the same at both hotels and you can use the amenities of both, which is great. The breakfast at Intercontinental is better, the bacon in Indigo is Chinese style and it’s not a buffet breakfast. Need to order from the menu. I liked the unique story of Indigo about the Tea horse road. Intercontinental has a larger area, but both hotels are beautiful. The staff at Intercontinental speaks better English. The staff at both hotels were helpful and attentive. We got an upgrade in Indigo to a Mountain View room but only because first we got a wall view and I asked for an upgrade. Indigo is quiet and peaceful, but very close to Intercontinental. The rooms are huge and amazing. In the end, choose the hotel based on the room style you prefer. All the other stuff can be shared. Thank you for a nice stay in Lijiang. The location is convenient and quiet. We went to Hyatt and Pullman for dinner, but they were far from the Lijiang old town and it was difficult to find transportation, it took us 50 minutes to get didi, the hotels are just okay compare to Intercontinental and Indigo. I recommend staying at Intercontinental or Indigo for a satisfying experience. 👍

The hotel is very good and the interior is very cultural. The service also top notch. The location is at the heart of the city, Lijiang Old Town. I am blessed to stay here. Recommended for those who is travelling in Lijiang.

It's a little dated inside but still a beautiful accommodation. It's like a small house that has its own little but well manicured courtyard. The bedroom has large glass panels from floor to ceiling that open onto the courtyard. The hotel is more like a town with a large pond in the center with beautiful flowers, bamboo, lots of song birds and trees. Highly recommend, especially if you love classical Chinese architecture.

Villa is very spacious, hotel’s environment is nice and quiet. Staffs are friendly, responsive and professional. By car, approximately 15 mins to Lijiang Ancient Town, 30 mins to Railway station, 40 mins to Yulong snow mountain. One of the room has the amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Can take Didi from the side road, not necessary to take buggy to the main lobby. As the place is huge, buggy might take a while to arrive. House-keeping staffs have initiative. The toilet light was faulty and couldn’t be turned off and the drainage system in the sinks and bathroom wasn’t draining the waste water fast enough. When I returned to the villa in the evening, they were fixed even before I informed house keeping.

The environment is beautiful and quiet. All villas are stand-alone. The rooms are clean and tidy. The location is convenient to Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. It is very convenient to take a taxi. Especially Manager Mu Xue, who sent breakfast when checking in and provided considerate service throughout the whole process. This stay experience was great.
