This hotel offered one of the best services I have experienced in China so far. There was free pickup from the airport, plenty of meals and snacks included throughout the whole stay. We even got a free room upgrade with an absolutely stunning view of Yulong snow mountain. The staff were very attentive and friendly, overall great experience. Would definitely want to stay again if I return to Lijiang, highly recommend to friends.

BEST HOTEL EVER! If there’s a six start rating for the service, I’d give it. The staff in this hotel really went the extra mile for everything. The view of the hotel is the best I’ve had, not just in Lijiang, but comparing it all the hotels I’ve ever stayed. The view, service, and facilities of the hotel makes you want to just stay in. The service especially! I’d 100% recommend and stay here again if I visit Lijiang!

I really love the way this hotel's team put an effort for me during my stay. Nobody from them can speak english, but i feel really got a five stars hotel service. The teams are very attentive and considerate. They were free upgraded my room. They even help me to ordee instant noodle from the store nearby. The thing is to make it fair with my other review, i can not give this hotel a perfect 5. There are so many room of improvement to make this hotel better. First of all is its restaurant management. Its already can not accept in room dining after 9 PM and breakfast only can start after 7.30 AM. The second is the location. The first problem and the second problem combine with my unability to speak chinese, make me hard to really enjoy this stay. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is really great. The facilities are perfect and it's very instagrammable. It just not for me who always move early in the morning, having dinner after 9, and can not speak chinese at all.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed so far. We were initially planning to stay for only one night but we ended up staying for three days. We got a room upgrade and we got to keep the room until the last day. ;) The room itself exceeds my expectation. I have never seen a hotel with complete complimentary from snacks to sanitary napkin that get restocked everyday. The room also has an oil diffuser and Dyson hairdryer! Everything about the place looks expensive and picturesque. The lake and mountain view from my room and the entire hotel was to die for. Food is good and affordable though I wish they had more options for breakfast and lunch. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. They helped us book cars to our destinations and patiently answer all questions about nucleic acid test and everything. I will definitely come back!

Stayed in a nice room with a hot tub overlooking the lake and mountains. Breakfast was adequate.

There are a few things that are INCREDIBLE about this place. 1) Our butler Xiao Qin was extremely good at taking care of all our needs in an efficient manner. We never had to wait or ask twice and a lot of times, she remembered our exact breakfast order and asked us if we were ready to have it delivered to our room. If you stay here, request her as your butler and you will be treated like royalty. 2) The unlimited breakfast time is such a great option and you can have it delivered to your room or eat outside. There breakfast options are also very good portions and made well. 3) The afternoon tea is super delicious, it’s French toast with rose tea. 4) If you want to go somewhere, Qin was super kind to arrange a driver for us every time. 4) Most places will have instant coffee where as this hotel has a proper coffee machine that uses Yunnan beans and you can have it anytime! 5) The whole hotel is very aesthetic so you can take beautiful pictures and the room is an incredible size! We got to experience two rooms, as we got an upgrade thanks to Qin. one room with a fireplace and the other without, both were well in order. This was a great stay. They added my Wechat before check-in and made sure we had a driver pick us up at the airport free of charge and bring us to the hotel. They even gave me an upgraded room with a better view. They delivered western breakfast to the room each morning and afternoon tea. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. I would certainly recommend staying a couple nights if you find yourself in Lijiang.

Truly enjoyed my stay at House and White! The staff were amazing and very accommodating! Anything I needed, they were so helpful to do. From sending a car to put me up from the station to helping me book a tour to Shangri-La. The location is so beautiful and the scenery around the it lovely. Soon as I arrived they asked if I wanted afternoon tea and they prepared the tasty bread and fruit. The food was great. The room was nice and comfortable and had everything I needed. I definitely would recommend House and White because they make you feel so welcomed!

This hotel is amazing. The unique, minimalist designed rooms had huge wall-wall, floor-ceiling windows with a spectacular view of the Yulong Snow Mountain. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had the best shower. The staff were extremely nice and took very good care of us. In particular, Yang Yang was very professional, patient and kind (we ate foreigners). He helped us to arrange our trips and made our vacation perfect.
