Location, very noisy. That is another issue. Beds clean and hard. Bathrooms vary in size. The shower stalls a tiny. If you are on the bigger side forget about taking a shower. Check In involved getting in an argument with staff. These buildings are around 600 years old. Just so much they can do with remodeling. Bring a multiple outlet adapter. Now the issue of the noise. When the windows are closed, the noise is greatly reduced. But since there is NO air conditioning, the room can get quite warm, even in November. We found out about the lack of AC from the staff. The air conditioning units are all fully functional. The staff at the front desk had all of the remote controls in a box. They casually joked while dumping them on the desk for us to see. They informed us that the government has made it illegal to use excess electricity in order to become less reliant on Russian resources. I researched the actual law that was in effect. The law only mentions government and publicly owned buildings. It mentions nothing about privately owned buildings such as hotels. I went around and around with management about this issue. Why would the staff ignore the law? It is very obvious. Every penny they can save improves the bottom line. If that means interpreting laws in there favor, that is what they will do. I would say FRAUD. I am going to contact the Florence Commerce Department. If you are expecting air conditioning in ANY hotel, you might want to reconsider your plans at this and any other hotel in Italy.

We had two different rooms, the bigger one a bit outdated, otherwise spaceous, also very big terrace. The smaller one just renovated, very nice, perhaps one chair more inside would be great. Also nice terrace, would be even nicer if it was more private regarding neighbouring rooms - some kind of barrier betwwen them. Otherwise very nice staying there.

Very nice hotel will.be back again at some point, very clean well situated near every thing in the town very friendly people .Really enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend, the food is very nice.

Excellent hotel so central to everything.Breakfast lovely and hotel spotlessly clean .All staff very polite and helpful would definitely return again .We had room with balcony to front of hotel and would Def recommend as nice sitting people watching .Cannot think of one complaint at all highly recommend.

This is a lovely hotel situated on a busy street that has lots of shops and resteraunts. The beach is a short walk away. We stayed here for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed on a b&b basis. The breakfast is decent and has a good choice for all tastes. The rooms are tastefully decorated, my only criticism is there was no mirror close to a power socket unless you used the one in the bathroom which isn't ideal when 2 people are sharing and both want to get ready to go out. The pillows were very hard and not very plush. We had a balcony which I would definitely recommend. Our room was at the front of the hotel and looking onto the street. There was some loud music late at night but this didn't go on past 1 and couldn't really be heard if the windows were closed. The reception and restaurant staff were very pleasant, always greeted us when we coming and going from the hotel. Laura was extremely nice and always had a smile on her face. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Hotel was so nice. Staff are outstanding and so helpful. Rooms were very clean, housekeeping service every day we were there. Breakfast was great with lots of options so there is something for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay.

A clean and modern hotel next to a busy, popular Piazza. Staff not over friendly at first but got better day by day. Nice to have a fridge and safe. Food was ok but quality cereal and tea would have been appreciated.
