We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

This hotel is located right next to the entrance of Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple, close to shopping and transportation to other places in Lhasa, so the location is perfect. The service is the most impressive, my hotel room was facing the street and there was a loud speaker shouting all day and all night, I had to complaint to the hotel staff even though the speaker was not part of the hotel. They immediately negotiated with the the relevant people, and offered to switch my room to face away from the street. Also the hotel staff helped me to reserve the critical sites and train. I cannnot be more thankful for their help. The room was big and they cleaned every day, they did a good job cleaning the room. The onsite laundry facility was helpful too since I cannot affort to pay for laundry service. All in all, I am very happy with the stay, and will return again if I come back to Lhasa.

The stay is great, the hotel staff took care of me on my last day when i fell really sick. Really appreciate the concierge staff!

Nice hotel with spectacular view at rooftop restaurant. Great location, walking distance from a lot of key attractions and shops you can walk to after finishing the tour with your local guide as required for foreigners. Staff were friendly and tried their best to help despite not much English; thanks to wechat :)

I checked into the hotel at 1 a.m. today. The two front desk waiters, Xiaoyu Cuocuo, received us very warmly and thoughtfully and personally sent us to the room. I drove more than 600 kilometers last night. It felt like home. The room was clean and hygienic, with complete sanitary products. The room was equipped with an oxygen machine, an air purifier and a humidifier. The hotel has a washing machine to provide services. I washed all my clothes last night! I feel at home when I return to Pingcuo Kangsang in Lhasa. This is my first time staying in the hotel in 2021. Every time I go to Tibet, I choose to return to Pingcuo Kangsang. The breakfast in the morning is rich and delicious. The waiters in the restaurant and the aunt who cooks noodles make me feel that the management of the hotel is indeed remarkable. After the end of the Ali Grand Loop, I will return to the Oxygen-rich International Resort Hotel in Pingcuo Kangsang, a self-driving holy land in Lhasa.

The ******* beer in the cabinet tasted surprisingly good. I wanted to buy a few cans from the hotel, but I didn't expect that they gave me three or four cans directly. Hahaha, happy! I am a southerner who is afraid of cold and doesn't like to turn on the heater. I asked the girl at the front desk to get a quilt for my bed in the middle of the night. The service is so good. I always like to stay at Atour when I go out. Recommend!

The room was very clean, the service was meticulous and in place, everything was good, the staff was very enthusiastic and patient, the service was very thoughtful, the room was very quiet, and the soundproofing was very good. The hotel is in the city, the location is good and convenient for travel, the front desk staff was very considerate, gave mineral water, upgraded the room, brought breakfast, and also gave mineral water when checking out, thank you very much! I will also recommend it to my friends, the experience is great.

The entire hotel looks elegant in appearance, decorated in Tibetan style, and there is a Tibetan fragrance in the corridors. Although the room decoration looks a bit old, it does not affect the use at all. There are many charging sockets, and the breakfast is very rich. We booked 2 rooms to stay together. 2 nights, this is the most satisfying and cost-effective hotel in this Tibet trip
