Swan Inn Lechlade

Very comfortable, clean, very friendly, great value for money, definitely recommend this inn. Thankyou to the staff, couldn't have been friendlier, beautiful old building. Will definitely be back as I have family here 🤗

Stopped by for a Sunday lunch. The food was mediocre at best. The lattes....great. Tables are well spaced out making for a comfortable meal. Staff are very polite Canoe on ceiling in one of the dining areas was a talking point for a while.

We enjoyed our stay. Room albeit a bit on the small side, was very clean. It could have done with somewhere more convenient to put makeup on as the mirror provided on the mantle is very low. We also were only provided with half a roll of toilet paper, but when requested more, was quickly remedied. All in all, a good stay. We'll definitely be back. Lovely old building with lots of character. Hopefully by the time we return, they'll be serving meals again!

Although the bar isn’t anything to write home about, the room I stayed in, with four poster bed and leaded windows, was absolutely incredible and brilliant value for money. I was shown up by a very friendly and cheerful lady, and once there had everything I needed. The rooms feel very much a separate world from the bar, but I cannot praise the place highly enough. Thank you.

After booking this B&B we were informed that there would be no breakfast due to there not being a chef. We booked this hotel because of the reviews for the dining so we could also have our evening meal. We were informed at a later date that didn’t allow us the opportunity to book elsewhere. They gave us details of places to eat which we used and would recommend Vera’s kitchen was excellent and we wished we had managed to book to stay there. The new inn for our evening meal was good though my dessert was disappointing We returned to have a drink at the swan to find it deserted on a Saturday night not a soul was in there so we returned to our room. The room was basic with tea and coffee provided but no toiletries and I’m not sure if there was a hair dryer so you might need to bring your own. I think the place might have been good at one time but has sadly declined in recent times

Nice refurbishment and pleasant room but no dinner or breakfast. Which made it an expensive visit. Breakfast at nearby Vera’s was brilliant. But buying breakfast out adds another £ 30-40 to the b&b bill

We stayed here this weekend and were overly pleased. We stayed in the Radnor room, it was stunning and cosy. The king size four poster bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Lovely seating area next to an decorative open fire. Large tv and a cute window seat. The shower was great, there was a free standing bath so I took advantage and had a lovely bubble bath. Location is great for visiting various places around the Cotswolds. The bar area is cosy next to the open fire which was much welcomed after a day out walking in the different villages. The landlady and staff were very friendly and gave advice on local places when asked. The locals were also friendly and the pub and hotel welcome dogs, we had met a couple of friendly dogs whilst having a drink which was great! There are a few parking spaces at the rear which are free for the customers and guests. We would definitely recommend a stay here and if visiting the Cotswolds again we would definitely return to stay here.

Tuvimos un problema con este hotel: habíamos hecho la reserva a través de Agoda y, al llegar, no constaba por ninguna parte. Incluso nosotros llevábamos la confirmación impresa, pero no sirvió de nada: ya habían vendido nuestra habitación y nos dejaban en la calle. Por suerte, había otra habitación libre y la pudimos coger, pagándola por supuesto, más cara, porque era de mejor categoría. Que digo yo, que ya la hora que era (las 7 de la tarde) no la iban a vender y nos la podían haber dejado por el precio que pagamos y entenderse ellos con Agoda, pero no. Tampoco el dueño dio la cara en ningún momento, dejó que se comiera el marrón la muchachita que tenía atendiendo recepción y el pub. Menos mal que Agoda sí que respondió (después de varias llamadas porque tampoco es fácil hablar con ellos) y nos devolvieron el dinero de la habitación que tuvimos que reservar sobre la marcha. Nos comentaron que habían intentado hablar con los dueños del hotel, pero no le cogían el teléfono. En cuanto a la habitación, era bonita , también era la más cara y estuvimos bien allí. Fue fácil aparcar delante del hotel. Obviamente, yo no volvería, pero si a alguien se le ocurre, confirmad bien antes de llegar que tengáis vuestra habitación reservada.
