The Hotel was lovely and very clean, but on the first night the window, being an Italian window and shutter wouldn’t close for us. It was a simple matter for someone familiar with the mechanism, but there were absolutely no staff onsite to assist! It was easily fixed the next day, but Lecce had strong winds and loud university students who disturbed our sleep! In isolation, not a problem, but we had to go to an early tour next day and the included breakfast did not start until 8pm. We were made to feel uncomfortable turning up at 7.58am with no greeting from the ‘older’ kitchen person who continued to put food out and just ignored us. It was very rude! Caterina, when she was there was lovely, but generally their customer service needs to improve! The place is not cheap, so they need to improve the client experience.
