Everything was great. They had a 24 hour service desk. That was nice because we had no time to check in at 3:00 pm due to being at a wedding. The front desk lady was nice. The hair dryer had a hair hanging from in. But everything else was good.

We have family in the area and visit central MN regularly. We’ve stayed in several hotels in St. Cloud, Sartell area. After staying at Homewood Suites last couple of visits, we returned to AmericInn which used to be our go to lodging in the area. Not anymore. General Manager Gerry is long gone and so is Asst. Jason. They always offered friendly, professional service. (We would often be greeted when we passed through lobby.). On our recent visit, a new crew without much for warm greetings. Additionally at checkin desk a signage board touts their free breakfast. It really is false advertising. Something that looked like sausages and eggs. Handful of mini donuts (i suspect Hostess donettes), hard boiled eggs already peeled (didn’t touch as didn’t trust all the other “handling” they were likely through). Had the make yourself waffle first day and ate out all the remaining days. (Side note, hotel used to have trays where you could carry coffee and “breakfast” back to the room-no more, but then again, as mentioned, breakfast is not much you would want to consume.). Additionally, I know not all communities are environmentally conscious, but still using styrofoam coffee cups!!?? ( When we stayed previously styrofoam cups weren’t used-clearly another cost saving move for hotel.) The room itself was generally ok, but it was clear a vacuum hadn’t been behind the night stand probably since our last visit 15 years ago. We will stay somewhere else for our future visits.

From my first contact to checkout my experience was exceptional. The staff was happy and delightful, pool was fantastic, breakfast yummy and the room was clean and comfortable. Very happy I chose to stay at this hotel.

Convenient to where we had to go. Quiet, clean, Staff was helpful. Hot tub could have been warmer. Room was exceptionally clean.

Nice place to stay in the St. Cloud area. Way better than the place we stayed the night before! I would recommend this as a place to stay.

Stood outside in the middle of the night while raining for a false fire alarm. 45 minutes long. Half outlets in room didn’t work the toilet seat was to small for the toilet.

Went for a Basketball Tournament. Did a block and called and communication was an error. Only booked for one night, once I got the email I called and tried to book for the next night also but all of sudden from when I talked to them to getting the email they booked up? Weird? Continuously called but no cancellations and were booked. Ended up with a king bed at double the cost of one night with two queens! So ridiculous if only the communication was better as of course that is a lack everywhere. Very polite and apologetic though. Overall not to bad. Just disappointed in the cost!! Way to expensive!

Check-in staff were very nice and friendly. Pool was clean and the kiddos enjoyed - no pool towels though so that was not ideal. Breakfast was the biggest issue and the most impactful on scoring - out of utensils, milk; coffee bar was low on most, including regular coffee and hot water. Hard boiled eggs tasted spoiled. Definitely didn’t expected a gourmet breakfast, but the fam definitely left hungry and disappointed with that part of the stay. Would certainly go back though and give it another chance.

Tv is very outdated and they have any and every function disabled so it’s basically useless, then the room I booked over a month ago I wasn’t given and was charged more then what this room is going for!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone!!!
