Hotel la Villa Douce

Se você não é francês, não reserve este hotel! 1. Restaurantes e bares não são permitidos para pessoas asiáticas? : Eles nos disseram que os restaurantes estão lotados a noite toda. E eu até perguntei se havia assentos disponíveis tarde da noite, e eles me disseram que estavam ocupados. Adivinha o que aconteceu? Mais da metade dos assentos estavam vazios depois das 8h30 e até vi pessoas andando nos bares / restaurantes. 2 Serviço de quarto: implorei (literalmente) que estamos com muita fome e precisamos de algo para comer. Eles nos disseram para sair do hotel para pegar coisas para comer. Mas o hotel estava localizado no topo da colina e não queríamos perder tempo. Então o que eu pedi foi tirar alguns alimentos dos restaurantes. E então descobri que o serviço de quarto estava disponível! (Depois de perguntar mais de 10 vezes! Era um segredo escondido apenas para franceses?) 3. (Continuação) serviço de quarto: o funcionário que trabalha no lobby me disse que só posso pedir comida depois das 9h. (Tudo bem para mim..) e fui para o lobby por volta das 8h40 (20 minutos antes das 9h). !!) e pedi comida. E vimos que outro serviço de quarto foi entregue na porta ao lado por volta das 21h25? E adivinha o que aconteceu? Nossa comida foi entregue em nosso quarto por volta das 10! (Mesmo depois de ligar mais de 3 vezes e o funcionário simplesmente desligar na minha cara!) Já estive na França mais de 5 vezes e foi quase um pesadelo para nós! E eu descobri que éramos apenas asiáticos e só éramos pessoas falando inglês! Por favor, não reserve este hotel se você não fala francês! ** e eu relatei isso ao trip.com e eles me disseram que o hotel nos enviaria um e-mail sobre isso (para pedir desculpas). Já se passou mais de uma semana e nunca recebi nenhum e-mail seu. Vocês são simplesmente racistas! There are many hotels on the French riviera offering amazing views, which this one has as well. The differentiator in our experience was the warm and clean swimming pool. Breakfast was good according to the French norms, but not fantastic as you can expect in bigger international hotels with much more choice. We stayed in junior suite - amazing spacious clean room! Also very safe for baby to crawl around. Overall fantastic stay. You absolutely need a car, don't count on going on feet to the beach, too far and quite a hill. A place we would like to return to.

This place is a hidden gem and surpassed all of our expectations. We were greeted by name, shown to the terrace with a nice refreshing drink then given a brief tour of the grounds before being shown to our room. We booked a pool view room on the ground floor which was the perfect location. It was late when we arrived and the view the next morning was a treat. Rooms are well equipped with everything you could ask for including a coffee machine, pillow menu, slippers, robes, Rituals soaps, safe and more. Beds were a little firmer than my preference but I have found this to be common in the South of France. There are also a water refill station on the grounds which we found useful. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The hotel also offer complimentary tea time with homemade cake in the afternoon which was a nice touch. We only stayed 2 nights and during that time we ate lunch in the hotel restaurant and had drinks in the evening, both were very good. Overall we couldn't have asked for more, our only complaint was that we didn't book to stay for longer!

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Everything makes you feel relaxed. We visited in November so it was chilly but still very beautiful. It must be outstanding in warmer months. It was easy to explore the area from the location.

This hotel is by far our best experience in the South of France. Nothing was too much trouble for the very professional and friendly staff of La Villa Douce - from the cleaning ladies, receptionists and concierge to the waiters/waitresses/barman. They also have a very good chef, who made deliciously fresh and sophisticated food at both lunch and dinner. We loved the buffet breakfast with mostly organic and local produce, home made cakes, etc. The pool area is lovely and very quiet & relaxing with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Our room was in the superior category with sea view. It had a very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and sufficient storage space. We were also able to charge our electric car free of charge in front of the hotel. It truly felt like a home away from home, although more luxurious. We will be back for sure (and recommend your hotel to all our friends). Thank you for a magical holiday!

Outstanding hotel, restaurant, and facilities, as having an (excellent) breakfast at the terrace is quite a visual experience. Very hard to find any negatives with this top of the hill gem. Key is that hotel is open all year round, hence staff is stable. A car is needed as access is hilly.

We were welcomed by a very friendly staff who was always willing to answer questions and help in any way. The view was spectacular, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower...incredible! The balcony view can't be beat. Breakfast was included each day, with a wide variety of choices for food and drink. Eating breakfast on a large terrace/balcony was amazing, overlooking the Sea. We had a rental car and we drove to nearby towns and villages. The beach was lovely - the water was a tad bit cool at first, but once we got in, it was so refreshing and fun to swim in (and cool off from the sun!) We booked massages at the hotel, which were lovely, as well. The pool was refreshing and clean. The service provided at every occasion was really wonderful. I would really recommend La Villa Douce.

a classy hotel on the riviera- modern and bright with great food and lovely scenery from almost everywhere in the hotel.Gave grat tips on where to visit and see and always helpful staff. The breakfasy area overlooks the ocean and most rooms have an ocean view.We had a lovely room overlooking trhe ocean

5 star service and quality in relaxed way. We had an excellent holiday in La Villa Douche. I read all the reviews and had high expectations but the place was even better than I expected. The staff was super helpful. We had one special need in our sleeping arrangements and even that was arranged by the personnel. This was an exceptional and really good service by Villa La Douche. The really want to make your stay as a success. We (family of two teenage daughters) spend 5 days relaxing, swimming and snorkeling and eating good in exceptionally beautiful Surroundings. The nearest Rayol beach was very beautiful and only few minutes by car. We game all the way from Finland by car so it was good to reserve a parking place beforehand. We visited Saint Tropez as well as the other small beautiful villages. In July it was quite hot but the hotel made all the surroundings very pleasant and the new pool restaurant was great! We will definitely come back.
