Hôtel de La Digue

一個比較有年代的酒店，但是設施一點都不差。房間很大，還有個大陽台，早餐在對面一個酒店吃，環境超好，餐廳外面就是聖米歇爾山。

Oh my goodness, where to start? The room I stayed in was an annex to the main hotel. Upon arrival I had to check in at the hotel opposite and pick up an access code to the annex. Staff were friendly, my room clean. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end! It really looks like the management of this hotel is living entirely on the view and everything looks run down and in need of serious modernisation. Carpets, furniture and furnishings are all tatty and stale, windows thick with dirt and look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The restaurant looks like an inferior motorway service station cafeteria! As there wasn’t a great deal of choice regarding restaurants in the local area I decided to eat at the hotel. After waiting for a little while I was greeted by an Napoleon-like head waiter wearing tight jeans and sporting an over-hanging stomach! Food was very expensive (unless you opted for the meal deal) and a bottle of cider would set one back €27. Amazing! The same bottle costs £2.70 in supermarkets back home. My snails seemed well cooked (I wouldn’t really know as it’s the first time I’ve tasted them) although my chicken dry and chocolate soufflé overcooked. Service was also extremely slow. Next day’s breakfast was even worse. Tinned fruit, sloppy scrambled eggs and uncleared tables. No doubt due to a lack of staff. So mostly negatives with a sprinkling of positives thrown in. Lovely views but when rooms costing between £80-100 per night this is very expensive for what is provided.

Location and it's proximity to the venue is really helpful especially once you are walking back late evening. Room cleanliness is definitely great but looks are not as exotic as shown in pictures. I just feel that this property is the neglected child of the main hotel. No staff to be seen anywhere. Poor value for money - so *********** had 2 options.. 90 and 105€ per night, thinking we would be given a better category but instead we had no balcony for the higher price room.. no electric kettle to heat water which is the most basic things offered by 1 star hotel. had to suffer without warm water all evening. Staff at Reception in day said yes for elevator but none was available, but when we needed something it was really difficult to get yeas from him.. He looked like he was on vacation from his grooming. However, the night shift guy was brilliant.. understood the requirements and gave solutions for everything we needed. You have to walk across the hotel else it can take ages to get you even water bottle or nothing would come. Please prepare yourself with all the necessities as post 8:30 - 9 all is dead but for the city but in the property it’s just ….. room. The breakfast option is .. something is better than nothing !

En groupe, pour le travail. Les photos de la chambre, des parties communes de l’hôtel et du restaurant parlent d’elles-mêmes. Repas médiocres avec un personnel qui fait ce qu’il peut mais qui ne se sent pas toujours concerné. Belle image de l’hôtellerie en France pour les touristes étrangers…

L'hôtel de la digue à un emplacement rêvé tout proche du mont St Michel mais les chambres même si elles sont propres sont extrêmement vétustes : fenêtres qui ferment avec du scotch, douche qui fuit inondant la sdb, abajour qui se décroche, humidité sur les murs et les rideaux... Bref, la liste serait encore longue. Hôtel qui mérite une vraie rénovation. 200 € pour une chambre de quatre pour les prestations proposées c'est du vol.
