Typical Vegas Style ****** resort - Pyramid/Egypt themed. Got upgraded which was a plus and room was a corner suite which was spacious. Great food options and pool was closed since it was winter. The good: Price point is favorable and resort fee plus parking is standard if Vegas. Location was end of the south ***** and great access to tram and Las Vegas Blvd The bad: Check in was long as there was a long line and not enough staff. Elevators were slow and 2 were not working so long wait. Rooms were a bit dates but ok for price.

My leisure,libation,fun,enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. To all my reader's who are reading this. My stay @ the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip was too short but still a great spot to stay. Some of the features of the room that I liked was the 2 layer curtains that had one to block out the glare and the other to completely block out all light from coming in. I also like the spacious mini fridge. I put a whole pizza box in there for the leftover pizza I ate the next morning being my concert. The view of the Festival entrance was great, especially at night with all the colorful lighting. It was also walking distance to my concert. They also have a marketplace which was convenient for me to buy drinks, ice cream and pizza and more. I recommend this place if you have a nearby event by the hotel and cause its very clean in the rooms and its private but also come with glass ware, microwave and coffee machine with a sink to wash your dishes. Resort is close to the middle of the strip. Easy walk to the Linq Promenade. Has it's own pool so you don't have to deal with the bigger Flamingo pool crowd (but that is available if you want it). Pool is open all year. Do the High Roller if you can (I don't like heights but it was very comfortable). Battista's Hole in the Wall is good food, free wine and reasonably priced-short walk from resort. Silverado at the Southpoint ****** was a quite good and reasonably priced steak house. Carlos and Charlie's at the Flamingo is very good for breakfast. Also good for breakfast is the Egg and I. You have to drive there and there are a couple but it was quite good. Saw a show called The Rat Pack is Back (excellent) at the Tuscany ******.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. The modern use of contactless check in and out makes it quicker to access room keys. There no need to wait in line for questions about your stay, they send text that provide links to any accommodation you may need.

I actually stayed here in June of 2018 but there was no options for 2018, only went to 2021. My husband was in a horrific car accident while working in Las Vegas and was in the ICU at the hospital. I stayed here alone for two weeks until he was able to leave the hospital and we drove home. The room I had was recently remodeled and the bathroom was huge with a beautiful glass shower and a long counter space with a large mirror. I loved the bathroom. The bed was high up, super big and so comfortable. The bedding was luxurious and the comforter was top notch, very poofy and soft. The room and bathroom were spotless. There was a housekeeper there, an asian lady, and she was so sweet to me. I had told her what happened with my husband and why I was staying there. She asked how he was doing every day that I saw her and she was very caring. They have a Starbucks and a restaurant that I got dinner from every night and took up to my room. Even though I stayed there alone, I felt safe being there. There was a worker in front of the elevators that you had to show your hotel key and i.d. to before they let you get on the elevators to go up to the rooms and I was glad they were doing that. There was also a bakery there that had alot of yummy desserts to choose from. All of the workers were so polite and professional. I would definitely stay again. It was my first time staying at the Palace.

New hotel, new facilities, high quality breakfast, a small number, homemade yogurt. The room is very quiet and quiet. Unfortunately, the suite does not have a washing machine. It’s actually a little distance from the avenue. You can only go by car. Walking is definitely not convenient. There are buses, free of charge, but tips are generally given. One person a knife. Overall recommendation

My husband and I had a pleasant stay at the Downtown Grand. The location is within easy walking distance to Fremont Street, yet far enough away that the noise level at night was comfortably decreased. What stood out during our trip was the outstanding customer service given by two employees. The first was a hotel registration clerk named April. My husband has health issues and I had booked an ADA room. Unfortunately, this room did not fit his needs. The following morning we inquired about changing rooms. The hotel registration clerk, April, happily helped us in finding a room that was more suitable to his needs. From her friendly smile upon approaching the front desk to her quick and efficient ability to switch our room for better accommodations was heartwarming. She displayed truly impressive customer service. The second was Wayne at the rewards desk. When my rewards card was malfunctioning he was able to speedily fix the issue. All of this was done with a praiseworthy demeanor. Both April and Wayne sincerely helped make this a great customer experience.
