Typical Vegas Style ****** resort - Pyramid/Egypt themed. Got upgraded which was a plus and room was a corner suite which was spacious. Great food options and pool was closed since it was winter. The good: Price point is favorable and resort fee plus parking is standard if Vegas. Location was end of the south ***** and great access to tram and Las Vegas Blvd The bad: Check in was long as there was a long line and not enough staff. Elevators were slow and 2 were not working so long wait. Rooms were a bit dates but ok for price.

It is a hotel in a great location. The hotel has many restaurants, stores and activities. Arrival by car was complicated because it was not possible to park at the door and there is no exclusive parking for guests. The room was a bit old but comfortable.

My leisure,libation,fun,enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

The concierge from the room phone were really rude when answer the questions , and the hair dryer blocked , asking a replacement , waiting for so long , called again , the house keeping was very rude to tell me to be patience even it’s over 15 mins waiting … The service here is sucks !! I won’t come stay here anymore

Delano is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Down side is the $50 charge just for using the fridge or adjusting the items in the fridge (the fridge and items on the counter have weight sensors). Also, they automatically charge you their parking fee which is not bad at $22 per night for the Mandalay Bay/Delano parking garage. Using your room key to get in and out of the garage is easy and convenient, BUT, it took my husband over an hour and a half to find parking Saturday night after 8 pm because they had a concert or something at Allegiant Stadium. I was very upset that I was not able to get the parking that I paid for in a timely manner only to accommodate those who weren’t even staying in the hotels. Of course the hotel and everything in it is outrageously priced, but it smells good in there, and they have staff that can check you in through your phone rather than waiting in a long line at the lobby counter 🤷🏾♀️ The hotel was very clean and they bring you new towels and make your bed on the second day without requesting them. I thought there was room service, but when I scanned the QR code, it was only for the prices for the snack bar/amenities so we didn’t order any room service.

Upon arrival our room was upgraded even with a late check in. The hotel was sold out due to a convention in town but service was efficient. The front desk representative, William really took care of us answering all of our questions and offering suggestions for us to celebrate my birthday. There are many 24hr restaurants within walking distance along with room service.

Really good hotel to stay at. It’s nearly at the end of the ***** but it’s such a perfect spot. When. You exit the hotel onto the ***** you have access to a bunch of cool restaurants like nusr-et (salt baes) restaurant, T-Mobile arena, hello kitty cafe, Hershey world, a bunch! Endless things to do.

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. Location is good for both walking and driving. Especially car entrance is located on the side as well so you can escape the traffic jam on *****. There some smells maybe detergent they use to clean the carpet was not comfortable. Will get used to it in 5-10 minutes. Quick for Valet parking. Staffs are nice and quick.

Very good hotel with central location in the Vegas *****, had the tower view so was able to also see the fountain. Unfortunately Trip messed up my booking from the tower view originally to a regular room so I had to top up in additional to the extra fees I already paid at booking, but was subsequently compensated for after much exchange with the customer service. Room was as expected, clean and free of smell.
