"Boa localização. O pessoal de recepção trata-se bem, mas as pessoas que trabalham no restaurante da praia fazem isso com muita parsimonia, lentidão e negligência: tiveram que lhes pedir que te atendissem ou que preparassem as coisas porque nunca tinham nada pronto. O pequeno-almoço estava incluído (ver foto), mas era muito básico e sem qualquer tipo de variedade. Preços do restaurante caros e também da massagem (€60/hora). O Wi-Fi não chegou ao nosso quarto, o lavatório da chuveiro estava preso, supostamente arranjaram, mas ainda assim. Também não chegou água quente ao banho e todos os dias tivemos que tomar banho com água fria. As malhas de mosquito estavam rotas, com as quais entravam os mosquitos. O hotel é bonito e as quartos são amplas, mas havia tantas coisas que não estavam bem, que saí com um sabor agridulce com toques amargos."

"Very cozy & Pleasant small hotel. The place sits in the back area of the center of Las Terrenas, about 400-500 FT from the beach. The rooms are well appointed & have everything you need, there are a total of 10 rooms? This place is good for those seeking a quiet Yoga like setting. Lots of vegetation, nice pool area. Luis, the caretaker is extremely nice & highly attentive to our requests. He cooks your breakfast to order. Had Luis not been such a pleasant & helpful person, the review could have been differently. We experienced the unfortunate wrath of mother nature, it rained for hours one evening & the hotel yard was flooded with approximately 1.5-2 Ft of water, not anyone’s fault. A couple of drawbacks: The doors are difficult to open with the provided key from inside & outside. We changed rooms due to the key issue, same thing happened with the new room & the new room had clear mold stains on the bed. This was concerning, we did not make the caretaker aware of it as it was late evening. During check in, the power went out, we had to wait outside the room until the power came in or caretaker brought a generator, ultimately it took too long & it was warm outside, we went out to dinner & power was back on a few hours later. Finally, the floor was dirty during check in, our feet were noticeably dirty from walking a few minutes in the room, house keeper cleaned the room the next morning. Overall, we enjoyed the place, The proximity to the beach, the exquisite breakfast & great service from Luis"

"Lovely privately run small boutique hotel in beautiful, well kept grounds. 10 minute easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars in Las Terrenas. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Small pool with sun beds to soak up the sun. Only five villas, so quite private. We stayed in the only detached one which was fairly large, very clean with large bed and shower, including toiletries. Complimentary water, Sprite, and fruit juice in minibar, plus biscuits and plantain crisps. Nice veranda with chairs for relaxing with a drink. Only downside was that we didn’t have a coffee machine which the others did. However, the breakfast pergola also acts as a bar from 8.00-19.00 hours, so can get a coffee there. Could do with longer bar hours, but to be honest, most of the other visitors were out all day. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, toast and yoghurt with granola or a choice of omelette, all served by the couple who own it. Very friendly people, the husband speaks English but I don’t think his wife did. Would definitely recommend this small, quiet hotel. Ideal for couples as there is a no children or pets rule. Not for people looking for somewhere with a lot going on, and the pool is only big enough for short lengths. Accessed by a private gate that is monitored , so very secure. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we went back to Las Terrenas. Good value for money."

Puerto Plaza Las Terrenas

"The room is quite big, and the double bed room is much more comfortable than the twin room. But the hotel is older and the facilities are older. The air conditioner can only cool but not heat. It happened to be very cold during those days, which was very uncomfortable. In addition, the hotel can store it for a long time, which is very convenient, so I stay there all the time."
